I know, I was thinking that also. I was on one of those internet phones in the airport with the small keyboard.. I couldn't fix the mistakes cause my flight was boarding. I was just exhausted..
Here is the review of the OLP show in LA... the viperroom is extremely tiny.. I was in front of Raine( i have a few photos to post when I scan them in)..The stage was small so no matter where you stood you got a good view..
Here is what they played: Picture Future where Are You Innocent Angels Clumsy Superman Smile Boy Circles Starseed
The only thing bad about this show was the sound was a bit mumbled at times.. I could barely hear Raine's vocals on some songs. The guitar came across as loud at times also. That also could be cause we were right on top of the stage/amps. Other then that it was amazing. I was in front of Raine. Actually under him.. Not a good place to be in a small place. He practically dropped the amp on the front one song.. Came half way off the stage. Another song the mic stand fell. I caught it.. We won;t even say how many times he almost stepped on my fingers.. .. It was all good though.
He didn't have the guitar with all the stickers this time. THe only thing the guitar he had this time said in blue letters. warchild.ca.. But his shirt was something else. He wore this black t-shirt that said in faded white letters ROYALTY HEROISM AND THE STREETS
I have no idea what that means.. Now about the show.. This was the best version of Superman's Dead I ever heard. They just really jammed at the end of the song for the longest.. I was also happy to hear BOY.. I really liked that song.. Future and Angels are still my favees live.. They just sound amazing. Clumsy also had a bit more keys in it then usually.. It sounded amazing with Raine singing it almost acapella before the keys come in. I am really liking the new arrangement of it.. He introdueced smile as a song for a man who always has that stupid smirk on his face. You just want to smack it off. You all know who he is.. People screamed out BUSH.. During the line that goes" I don't like you, or your Bullshit attitude or the company you keep" Raine adlibed RICE, CHENEY, POWEL.. I think I was the one of the few who caught that..
I thought it was amazing and fun to see them in a place that tiny.. I am so glad I went. This is definitely a memory for me.. I also got to talk to them a bit after the show..There also were a few people there I was glad to see.. Chantal was there. She looked absolutely stunning, and radiant. Motherhood defintely agrees with here. I spoke with here for a few minutes. She wasn't feel to good so left before Raine did..Shawn was also there. He chopped off all his hair. I didn't reconize him at first. I was standing there waiting to talk to Raine and this guy taps me on the shoulder to say hi. He said I should of known you would be here so I laughed. He told me that that Raine didn't know he was here so I turned to Raine and said Raine this is my blind date for the evening. WHen he realized who it was he was surprised. I thought it was Jamie at first cause that is how short he hair if now. He looked amazing though and it was good to see him. I haven't seen him since Matt Good in June.. He is with Simple Plan now. The other person I got to see was Jason.. He is a good friend of Steve's. He is actually the guy who got Steve to try out for OLP.. He is also American Hi Fi's drummer now..
all in all it was fun..
I have a friend who is going this week and one who is going next week. So hopefully they will email me abou tthe shows.

Curious on what you thought of the opening act, Augustana. They seem to be a bit mellow from their samples, but are getting lots of raves about them. Seeing how you've seen them live (Which tends to be a bit more heavy then studio), just curious on your thoughts!

I didn't see them. There was a band playing when I was going to leave.. Don't remember their names.
OLP just played by themselves. The other acts were a different show all together.. they came on about 11-11;30.. They sounded okay from what i heard.. -People there told me they are getting airplay out in the LA area.
