I'm thinking the new album is gonna be pretty good myself. 15 days left.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

LOL. I could never seriously knock the diners. I dont know what i'd do if i couldn't run to one at some odd time of night every so often

I will be at the Bowery shows. Its like 5 minutes walking distance from my best friends apartment. *squeals* havent seen em since they toured off sm and they came to a rinkydink little place called the birch hill night club, you might have been there, being from jersey and all:) If I recall correctly, American Hi-Fi opened. I got to meet Raine during his sexiest phase  (in my opinion, anyway)

Sadly, I only first saw them live in August 2002. I'll be at the first night at the Bowery (wish we could go both nights but money's not allowing that), and so will Melissa (xonodoubt69) so perhaps we'll see ya there!

Nikki the first time I saw them live was in 2002 also. September at the Big Ass Show. Then again in December opening for Creed. I am seeing them at the same Big Ass Show this September. Weird, eh? They must really like that station.

Anyhow, it's crazy how the new album is bringing out all these new folk/drive bys. I came here to get stuff for Gravity...I just never left

Not Afraid < everything on new album.

haha. See, I bought tickets for both nights and now money's not allowing me to do anything else. Ramen for dinner for a week. God I hate ramen.

Side question: What label represents OLP in the US? Im pretty sure it aint Sony but about two weeks prior to Gravity's release I got a pirated copy from a friends dad, who works for sony records.

And Cass, sorry to seem like I'm being a drive-by :freak: Like I said, no biggie. The long and short of it is, I've recently started a night job, where I finish my work hours before its time for me to leave. So, I've made an effort to be social on boards instead of lurking, in order to pass the hours. I've lurked here for ages. (I also joined the oasis boards as well, not sure I like it as much, people seem very angry over there for some weird reason).
And thank god for "Not Afraid<anything off the album"

Hm, now onto trying to figure out how to make a loop of the last 5 seconds of the Angels Losing Sleep clip. I miss that falsetto. Does he use it anywhere else on the record or is it a one off like Sorry from Gravity?

Holy crap, you like Oasis, too? 8O You rule. But yeah... Oasis fans suck. I never go on those boards unless I'm looking for something specific.

OLP is on Sony, yeah... more specifically it's Columbia here in the states, which is a subsidiary of Sony.

Ah ok, that whole incident makes a lot more sense now.

Yeah, I love Oasis:) And their new album is kick-ass. I may be pushing my luck a bit, but do you like Silverchair as well? (For some reason, I found loads of people that love all 3, and am wondering if the OLP/Silverchair fans I know casually irl are hubbers or not lol)

You wouldn't happen to have any idea who recorded that show, would you? There's a recording of it on the internet, and I'd like to track down the taper and get a better quality copy.

I heard Made to Heal live... awesome.

and... probably the best of the few... I heard The Wonderful Future live... twice.

I still can't believe they opened with that song in Selinsgrove PA in 2002.. wow. Sand, Stace, Reena, Priscilla and myself were probably the only ones who knew that song at that show.

It was at the school's church lol... There were sooooo many security people there, like too many, and they were all students.... wearing custom made OLP SECURITY shirts with a band pic that still had Mike Turner in it.... stupid people. THen, during Are You Sad, they were all slow dancing with their "significant others" instead of doing their jobs.

you wouldn't see something like that here.
