We didn't have a Green Day thread, so i figured I would create one.

Discuss, the awesomeness that is Green Day.

I just saw the video for Wake Me Up When September Ends and...well, I don't know what to say about it yet.

i thought the video where they showed parts of the girl/guy together were very realistic and sad, although the video got lil blatant/cliche near the end

i re-listened to American Idiot recently and i have to say it was so much better than what i remembered it to be. :nod:

I sort of wish they had only released the song American Idiot or something. I hate listening to all the other singles they put out on the radio all the time, espically since they sound so much better when played in the album. When I hear their singles I just get annoyed but when I listen to the album it rocks. The September ends video seems a little strange to me... but I haven't enjoyed their last two vids either. So eh.

Apparently Jesus of Suberbia will be their next single. How the hell thats going to work, I have no idea.

I heard a long time ago that they were gonna make a movie for the whole album. Don't have a clue if that's still gonna happen, though.

"Hey-Sus of Surburbia" is supposed to be a 9 min video with the same director of "September" supposed to be his last...same guy who direct Teen Spirit video and lots of others

They should totally make it a movie musical like TOMMY (The Who movie), but better with plot and not Drug induced. So like other Band Musical movies. The Wall perhaps? Or maybe JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR! (That's not really a band though...)
