It should be stellar indeed. Much better than gravity no doubt. None of the new songs they played live have disapointed me so far although Where Are You still bugs me a bit, just the sons and daughters part tho.

Iam not surprised that is on ebay> i was wondering when it will show up. iam surprised it is so cheap though.. they usually go for lots by the time auction ends..

from what I remember I think Angels was my fave live.. I also loved Future... they just sounded amazing..

As for Steve's guitar work. I have been a fan since the first time I saw him play. I am really glad to see him get a chance to shine on this cd. Up until now it was mostly Mike's stuff we heard. Only his interpatation of it.. So this is all good.. Plus I am loving the fact he is doing keys now.. Only question I have is what happened to the black yamaha?. He didn't have it with him.. used a different guitar all together. As did Raine..

I know this is spam. I jsut read the Viper shows will probably only be an hour. They have adds for the late show with a 9:30 door. The band comes on 8:30 sharp.> Since they are only playing an hour give or take. I wonder if the shows will be the same or they will do different songs each week.. I really want to see Don't Stop and from what everyone said the song BOY.. crosses fingers they do it..

Yea I loved that Yamaha AES820 and the things he's done with it. I'm disapointed that he doesn't seem to be using it anymore. I guess with the new album comes a slightly new sound, more of a old school rock edge sound for the guitar. I'd love to see the Yamaha come back on the next tour tho... it's soo... Steve!

i must say "Angels Losing Sleep" is my favorite, I love near the mid way point when that very rhythmic guitar kicks in, it's got this eery vibe about it, sent chills down my spine.

I think it's FUCKKIN awesome that the falsetto's are back in the music, they seem to be everywhere on this new record...excellent stuff

The new stuff is decent sounding from what i can gather from the live tracks, but I honestly have to reserve judgement for the actual studio tracks because I've despised Raine's voice live since 2003. Honestly, I used to crave live shows, but definitely not anymore. Anyways, the new tracks are decent sounding. I can't really get into the live ones yet, simply because i can't hear everything very clearly. Not saying that the recording was crappy, it was great considering the equipment involved. It's just not enough to experience a new album.

I totally agree! I have never heard anything like that ever.. it's seriously so haunting and beautiful at the same time.
