ME IN A HOUSE LIVE

well my first impression of the song live from live 8 was scarring at least. still, although i haven't yet heard the toronto recording, i would say the song performed well live would break the monotony of the radio version somewhat.

I thought the harmonies we're way off at live 8, and the mix was weird, but I can see it being a good live song with some polishing.

I heard it live at Edgefest in Buffalo... Raine still couldn't hit the high notes, it sounded like his voice was about to crack...it sounded quite bad in my opinion.

He's clearly getting older, but he played that song really well in my opinion at Edgefest. I hit a lot of high notes that night though with other songs.

Where are you has the potential to be a great song. That potential lies solely on the original clip of "best days" that most of us have heard, despite the chorus' resemblance to the ataris "boys of summer" cover.
Don't ask questions, just accept it.

Toronto show > Edgefest > Live 8.

I came away from the Drake show thinking 'wow, this really is a good song, it actually seems to flow live', whereas at Edgefest it wasn't quite as good, but still much better than the Live 8 recordings.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

It sounded bad on Live8. Never heard any other live version of it.
I don't like the song, but I think the studio version sounds better, as usual.
