The Sony DAT Recorder... isn't that kinda big? I thought I heard it was 11 inches long... or I could have misread the specs when I was looking around for a good recording set up.

There's something called the Portable Sony Dat recorder. Records fairly well, there was one OLP show last year recorded by a Sony Dat recorder. It came out REALLY good!

Here's what a Portable Sony Dat recorder looks like.

Hmm, there appears to be very little in the form of overnight options.

I booked a campground site--"Ace Campground."

Anyone know anything about this place?

I'd really like to go, but I'm going to have to HOPE that Our Lady Peace will decide to visit the east coast again during their tour sessions :( If not, I guess I'll have to hop on a plane and go to them!

Oh and if you're interested, I just checked ticketmaster.ca, and there are still tickets left for this event. They're 99CND and I believe you can pick them up at the gates. I'd rather just go and watch the OLP set then leave ;) Maybe stick around for the Hip, but Maroon 5 isn't a band I'd want to see, and the Stones...Meh, this is what, they're 5th farewell tour? They'll have another soon enough ;)

OLP have an uncanny knack for going to Newfoundland a lot and skipping the rest of the other maritimes.

On their last Canada wide tour they didn't even stop by Halifax!
meh

Even if you decide to go we can meet up and enjoy the OLPness!!

your choice

peace out d00t

OLP will be playing about an hour. I asked Jeremy last night if they got a decent amount of time to play. He said they got about an hourt. Just thougth I pass that along.

I wish I could of went to the Ottawa show. Stones tickets in Canda are a hell lot cheaper then NY. the good seats here are $4-$5 hundred dollars. $100 gets up in the roof Mauybe last few aisles in teh arena. Cheapest decent seat is over $200

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Hey Guys!

OLP rocked Moncton yesterday!! :D

here's the setlist

Picture
Angels/Losing/Sleep
Innocent
Starseed
Wipe that smile off your face
Clumsy
Where are you
Somewhere Out There
Superman's Dead

This show has also been recorded. It will be on the hub as soon as I figure out how to divide the files and put them in mp3 format. Also Matt and Josh the orginal WAV file will be up too!

Overall. The concert was amazing!! I didn't stick around to see the stones because I didn't want to get caught in 5 hour traffic! So I left after maroon5! :)

I sort of wish they played more of the new stuff than the old stuff. But who cares, I'm seeing them in Boston and hopefully it will be a longer show.

Just for those of you who care Duncan caught me!! He saw me with the recorder in my hand and just smiled at me. He was probably thinking "Don't those CM'er and Hubbers have anything else better to do than record OLP?!" and probably "Every where we go we can't seem to get rid of them!"

Stevrrr saw me too and he laughed and nodded his head at me while playing his guitare to ALS. And Raine pointed at me when he was singing Where are you. I bet he was thinking "Your going down for recording this buddy!"

Now about the songs

Picture - good
ALS - Stevrrr's guitare didn't work for some of the song. And Raine had to hum.
Innocent - Was good ...but crowd went crazy so recording is kinda muffled
Starseed - Good! crowd went crazy again
Wipe that smile off your face - GREAT! When you hear it live it reminds you of the doors for some reason.
Clumsy - Just wicked! I love the new start to it :)
Where are you - Meh, I've heard this song live too many times!
Somewhere out there - Raine screwed up on the vocals in this but meh, overall good!
Superman's Dead - AMAZING!

They had good energy at this concert!!!!! :D
