wow, after seeing all this talk about how good the songs were in full and live, waiting for this cd, is like a dope fiend waiting for a heroin fix.

Hey gang. Nikki, Melissa, Nam, Sooz, and myself are hanging out in a small internet cafe right now. The show last night was amazing. I think everyone will really enjoy the new album, the new songs are fantastic. I have to agree with everyone else, Boy may be the real steal on the whole album. It's unique and amazing live. It was hard to hear the vocals for most all the songs, but the crowd sang along with the ones they knew. Where Are You sounded so much better than the Live8 version. Time's running out for us here, but tomorrow it's off to Buffalo. Quick setlist for the show:
Picture
Will the Future Blame Us
Wipe That Smile Off Your Face
Where Are You
Superman's Dead
Innocent
Angels Losing Sleep
Boy
Somewhere Out There
Walking In Circles
Naveed
Clumsy
Starseed

uhhh why would they?

I was debating on going yesterday. I'm only a 5 minute bus ride from the drake. In the end I decided not to. Oh well. That's my story.

Nobody mentioned Will The Future Blame Us and how it sounded live, what did you all think of that song live? is it good or even better than you thought it would be

will the future blame us is fucking amazing live...

the whole band was going nuts playing it...

at one part near the middle of the song, it slows down and sounds like the beginning of "Dont ask Why".... just amazing... totally impressive.

Kinda like the slow drumming guitar part right?? I was hoping that was goign to be in the song, because i loved the beginning transition of the song...

Once again I'm envious of you all, seems like OLP is finally OLP again

I thought he was talking about the Edge 102.1 in Toronto. I haven't been paying enough attention to the band to the point where I forgot they were playing only across the river from me haha My apologies

The reviews of this show have confirmed what I've long suspected: this is gonna be one hell of an album.

Just wondering, is there anyone who saw the show that wasn't hyped for the new album somewhat hyped now?
