yeah, but a major investor wants them to run seperately. so who knows, maybe y'all will have your tim hortons back from evil wendy's.

actually i like wendy's, so it's not evil to me.

Honestly, it isn't that big of a deal. The only thing I can say that separates it from other donut shops is that they are really clean and comfortable to stay. Ever try staying at a Dunkin' Donuts late at night? The truckers scare me.

Tim Hortons used to be Canadian owned only. Now it isn't. That makes me sad.. I agree with Corey, Tim Hortons is great at night, we slept there once. :lol:

I don't know if enough Americans are familiar enough with Tim Hortons to allow it to veer away from Wendy's. I think that they should advertise and brand the chain a lot more in the States.

Tim Hortons is recognized more around here as a place for Coffe and Donuts while Wendys is more known as a burger and fry joint (And Salads) so their basically two different resturants.

It wouldn't make sense to have 2 of the same restuants right next to each other.

And no ones omre of an expert than I am. Not only do I live in Columbus less than 4 miles from Wendys corporate headquarters. My hometown of Tiffin is the brithplace and residence of Dave Thomas's mother.

... Though I've yet to meet Wendy (I've got a thing for redheads) ;lol;

there's tim hortons' everywhere around here. i actually had some this morning. i know i've said it before, but ice cappucino's. :drool:

For Americans, the closer you are to the border the more likely you're going to have a tim hortons.

Let me say this though coming from a hockey family. Tim Hortons stores that are attached to Wendy's restaurants are a godsend. I can't tell you how many times I've been able to grab Wendy's after a hockey game a couple hours away at 11pm while my stepdad grabbed a coffee from Tim Hortons in order to keep himself awake for the drive home. Dairy Queen is starting to move into these buildings as well in some of the newer ones.
