Why do you listen to OLP?

Really, why do you listen to OLP? Do you just like the lyrics, like the people, do you listen to OLP for the meaning in their songs, do you like what they believe in? WHY, world, why do you love this great band so much?

i dont think we can describe in words why listen to OLP we just do. It meant to be. It is our destiny. :mrgreen:

yes it IS our destiny.... I like OLP because they've got the whole package- sure, there are some musicians that have great lyrics, their music just isn't appealing to us. Other bands could have great sounding songs, but when you listen to the lyrics, they just plain suck. Our Lady Peace has it all. There's just this connection that's there.... it's amazing.

People don't listen to music for the lyrics - otherwise they'd just go and buy a book. I listen to OLP because I like their songs.

I'm a huge fan of bands that have powerful lyrics but I chose all of the above .. the lyrics make ya think, you can always find meaning in their songs, the vocals are amazing, I AM CANADIAN, and simply, cuz of their sound/music that they make together :nod:

i listen to them because their music moves me. when i listen to it from an analytical standpoint i could get lost in it because there are so many interesting things to listen for, especially on happiness and sm.
