Best optical illusion I've ever seen.

Go there, watch the video, then print the image, assemble it (it's really easy!) and try it yourself (with one eye closed). Fucking awesome!

Yeesh, this isn't one of those lame tricks. This is actually a really cool optical illusion (I know that saying this won't actually convince you, but I said it anyways...)

It's awesome. Your brain just makes the assumption that it's a 3D convex object sticking out towards you (even though, for example, the "top" is dark, since in reality it's shaded from the light).

Very cool indeed. I've always had a thing for optical illusions. I own a couple books about them and M.C. Escher is my favorite artist.

EDIT: I just made the paper one. Wow, it gives you a whole new respect when you see it in person (no that the video wasn't cool, but you know what I mean.)
