The Filibuster Princess quick Don't think It's time for us to sing Sing the praise in the haze oh my god I'm so down
It's no No? no, it's there You're as blind as a pig "oink" bastard child It's your turn to sing.
"Heaven sent me from above" "Hell sent me from below" Over my shoulder I see this world. Hey man it's time to let go. You're a sycophant and I'm your mirror.
Escalator Your choice
Both want you so bad. They want you so bad. I want you so bad. You want you so bad. It's driving me mad.

Hard to say I know you Hey there I found your note I thought you should know It's a roller coaster sitting on a fence an obsessive decadence, Let's sit and watch.
When the highlight of your day was yesterday I find it hard to say I know you.
Hey there I think it's time I thought you should know I'm a trapeze artist in artistic times while you stradle a fence hoping it won't break
It's hard to say I know you When you act like this It's hard to say I know you.

Code Your headache is over It's over your head is a wonder I wonder if this is my business but on Saturday We'll break this mold and we'll feel old like we're wonders that we ain't. Pretending, our lives your life is nice I wish a could cry you wish you were nine And someday I'll run and some days you hide this headache of yours has become mine. Carry me Because I care but what do I do when you're not living life but life is living you. And acres of land lying in rows lying smoothly at their destination having searched for life and there it is.

Unknotted When I awoke I planned and I plotted my path's been unknotted I never knew I could tell you, what it's like when I fell and you caught me in my dream and became from a stream of consciousness and activity and relief some creativity my heart and my mind both pining for time often carrying different plans for a plasticine man finding lines to be dotted. For my heart when she caught it my mind woke up from this dream and plotted a path to destiny for this quick tiring stream of life.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
"It's a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself. Makes you wonder what else you can do that you've forgotten about"
Looking back I used to be good I used to think I was one I used to feel young I used to be one of them I'm not one of them
I try to speak I try to dance I try to harbour and follow and make this end
In the end When I am old I will forgive detach my soul From where I lived.
I used to be good I never felt obsolete Running to the end on my own two feet From where I began.

i really like the first stanza of filibuster princess
also, i like Hard To Say I know You. it has a special something but i dont know what and i don't get it 100% either but thats fine
and i feel like i could correspond/reflect to Looking Back. I like.
Code and Unknotted, i cant really grasp for some reason but i think it's because they are not seperated into stanzas. and each line is really short. yeah i'm just weird but there you go.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.
