The I've got my period and it really sucks thread

I've gained 10 lbs in the past umm... year, I guess. It's a pretty visible difference (to me, anyway). *shrugs*

Your mom doesn't have to know. Go to a clinic and they'll ask you questions and make you get a pap test and all that fun stuff and then you can go on the pill. I did all that in highschool without my mom knowing. It's all private and confidential. If they need to call you they even have a special name they'll leave if you don't answer the phone so you know it's them but nobody else would. A bit weird but whatever, it works. :lol:

I did it without my mum knowing too! I think it's illegal for them to tell her as well.

lol.... if i would get my damn driver's license.... maybe i could do this.... but in the meantime... i dont have my license and probably wont get it until october

and nikki, if tried like everything under the sun. it works for like 3 hours and then wham. they just dont go away

i get really bad cramps to the point that i can't move for hours cause it hurts so bad and i can't swallow pills so it doesn't really matter. my mom used to be a nurse and she thinks its cause i have an iron deficiancy so i take vitamins if i remember and sometimes they help but sometimes they don't :x

i have an iron deficiany too, well at least i used to, don't know if i still do. and i had really bad cramps too before i went on the pill. and the pills are so tiny. you don't even need water to swallow them.

For ID, you mean? Because you can just go to the DMV and get an ID card that has proof of age but has nothing to do with being able to drive. Just general purpose photo ID.

You don't need a license to go on the pill. Unless you mean so you can drive there? :lol:

All you need is a health card and that's it. It's completely confidential.

Midol is the miracle pill for me. But I only get horrendous cramps every third month or so. The other months it is just uncomfortable.

I lost like more than thirty pounds in the last year. But then I gained back about ten. So now I'm working on that.
