Ozzy appreciation thread

I think Ozzy needs a thread, because he really deserves it. He was good with Black Sabbath, but I also like his solo work. The Essentials, is a great 2 disk set of his solo work, truly amazing. Songs like, Perry Mason, Mr. Crawley, Time after Time, Desire, Gets Me Through, Dreamer, Burning Castles(I think that's what it's called), Mama I'm Coming home, No more tears, and so many more. All such good songs. Then the classic black sabbath ones like paranoid, iron man, electric funeral etc. So discuss the awesomeness that is Ozzy.

How did I forget to mention that?! Tis a grand song indeed. Also I think I should mention this before it brought up. Ozzy did not intentioanlly bite the head off of that bat. A fan threw it on stage and he thought it was a toy, but it was stunned by the lights. He put it in his mouth as a joke, but then it started flapping. He got startled and pulled it out, but forget to open his mouth as he did so.

I have a hilarious clip from Conan of Ozzy cheering up the crew from right after NBC was sent anthrax in the mail. I ripped it myself. :mrgreen:

I don't know about a dove. Doves don't sound like his type of animal anyway lol.

yeah, he bit off a dove head. in a meeting. to get a record deal with whatever label he's (was?) on.

It definitely wasn't the same article that was in Mojo, then. Cos that one mentioned both incidents... which were both very (in)famous.
