The pasty white thread

Post by Soozy »

Are you jealous of the people in the brown thread because there's no way you'll ever get even a suntan?
Do people reach for their sunglasses as soon as you reveal any flesh?

If so this thread is for you :D

So far I know Matt and I qualify (and if anyone posts the beach pictures to prove it I'll kill them :O) but who else is there???
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

hah, ME, most definately!
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

For anyone who remembers me bitching about not knowing what racial category I fall into a little while ago, here's the perfect example. I'm not brown. And I'm sure as hell not pasty. Methinks Alex needs a thread all to herself

Lori is beautiful!

Yes, Sooz and I are among the pasty whitest of the CM. I really miss my farmer tan from back in the day.

My arms, neck and face are tanned to that perfect tan colour. It looks really good, but I keep a shirt on at all times so the rest of me is pasty white. Do I still qualify?

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

My apologies for slipping an I in there.

As for her Slavic side, Yugoslavia is/was on the mediterranean.

I'm not Yugoslavian m'dear. I'm Romanian. They're about as pasty-white Eastern European as you get. My maternal grandmother is white as a lily with light blond hair and crystal blue eyes, as are both my cousins on that sde.
