I spent last night on the streets.

In one of the 30 largest cities in the US.

I wasn't planning on it.

Weirdest/scariest/whatever moment: there are a lot of benches on the sidewalk that are like two benches that share one back. I walked past a bum who was on one of these benches, leaned over the back and looking down at the seat on the other side. I think there were drops of blood on the seat below his face.

I spent at least half of the night drinking caffeine at a gas station.

I feel really tired and dirty right now.

I'm going to go take a shower, and then I'm going to go to sleep.

Umm, I went to see Presidents of the United States of America in Portland and didn't realize I wouldn't be able to get back into the Greyhound station until 6:30 AM. The only time I've been to the Portland Greyhound before, I had a long layover from like 3 AM to 7:15 AM. I assumed that meant it would be open at random hours in the middle of the night.

The bum who walked past at the gas station also said that I had found a nice place to hide back in the corner of the gas station parking lot.

Does this mean I would make a good bum?
