congradulations pecker.....you've graduated from Reno-Rican Univ. and high school at the same time.

however at all Reno-Rican graduations we play black dollar bills by hope of the states, not pomp and circumstance. \m/ :raine:

Also... wouldn't graduating before you're actually done school kind of take away the fun and excitement of graduation? :wtf:

Not graduating a year early, fool! Graduating before your classes are even done. :P

ya it doesn't make sense... Graduation is supposed to mean that you're done and never have to go back. We always held graduation two or three days after the last exams were completed, which I always liked, but there are even some schools here that do their grad in the fall, which I think is stupid because all these kids who have moved on with their lives and gone away for university now have to come back to their high school for one night. If that had of been the case at my school I would have said "mail me the diploma".
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

^ that's how high schools here are as well.
i lucked out in that my school was morphing into a new one in the following fall so they took a vote as to whether people wanted their grad in june as OUR school or in sept. as some different school. Needless to say, it was in June :D
awkward is the new cool

I'm getting really pissed off at this job search right about now. I have an interview today but I found out from someone who works there that unless I'm willing to do the closing shift I won't get hired. Which is the one thing I really didn't want to do. A full shift alone in the middle of the night until you close the store. Not cool. Everyone else at the store refuses to do it, and thats why they are hiring. I'm not even sure I want to show up.

Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

We had our graduation a day after everyone else was done with school. We got off a week earlier than everyone else because we were seniors. I like the way we do it. Graduation here is tomorrow. Wooh, now my sisters will be home all the time...

Job hunting does suck. I got pretty lucky this summer but it seems impossible to ever fing the perfect fit for a summer job.

depending on where you live. If you live in Niagara it is incredibly easy to find jobs. Almost everywhere hires seasonal workers because of the tourist stuff.
