You must be mistaken. The first two seasons of "Alias" were good. Season 3 blew. Season 4 isn't doing much better, but the last couple episodes have been better. It's funny how it's doing better in the ratings now that the show isn't as good anymore though. "Lost" must be a great lead-in.

Anyway, "24" is my favorite show this year. It hasn't been this good since the first season. Yes, it's the same formulaic plot, but it's exciting, and has an intensity the previous two years sort of seemed to be missing (except for the second half of last year).

I think it has been amazing every year it has been off. It's one of the few shows I have not lost interest in.

Oh, and I read something- I'll put it in black text. You may not want to read it.

-Jack may be killed off this year. Rumours are that it may be the last season. I do not think so however. I think a new 'Jack Bauer' type of character will take over.-

So season 4 is doing better than season 3 by completely forgetting that the show had an overarching plot, and just bringing back all the characters we love, sending them on missions and having a good time. The season is a third of the way over, and nearly everything that has happened appears to be disposable. Maybe you didn't like season 3, I thought it was fine, but at least with it they were trying. And now they're about to bring Anna and Sark back, I'm waiting to see if it's going to be a return to the plot, or if they just wanted to bring back some of the characters that we love to hate for another 40 minutes of fun. Hopefully they'll at least explain why Sark is around, since I'm pretty sure the last we saw of him he was in US custody.

I thought it was an interesting twist that Mandy showed up last episode.

For those of you who didn't notice, the female terrorist who currently has Tony as a hostage was in seasons 1 and 2. In season 1 she blew up the airplane in the first episode after stealing the photographer Martin Belkin's id card. After being paid for delivering the id to the terrorists who would then use it during the assassination attempt on Palmer, I think she disappeared. In season 2 she turned up at the end of the last episode, when she poisoned Palmer. It looks like she might have a hard time getting away this time though.

As for what will happen in the last two hours, I don't have a clue. Anything could happen. :)

I think it's unlikely that Jack will die, because it seems that the show will have a 5th season.

IF FOX kills Jack off, which would be tremendously stupid, 24 will pretty much be done for. Then again, FOX has a history of doing stupid shit...

By the way. I hope Tony makes it cause he's all cool and stuff.

thanks, my bad.. either way we don't know what happened to him.. :P

I do feel bad for Audrey though. She lost her Husband, and she thinks Jack is dead. My friend said she doesn;t. She didn't want him.. Maybe, but still to lose two men you loved in one day... you feel for her..

I don't think they will kill off Jack...

The show has signed to be back for seasons 5 & 6...

Tony, however, is most likely not going to be back next season.

Oh... I also thought that the actually destruction of the nuclear bomb was somewhat undramatic... they spent the whole season looking for it and ended it in about 45 secs after finding it. It just seemed like more needed to be done on that aspect of the show... other than that, it was pretty awesome.

I'm not sure what they could have done, haha.

It happened so quickly... usually something goes wrong... and it didn't... once they found it, it was destroyed. it just seemed sort of undramatic.

Well theres no other way to take out a cruise missle and naturally it would have been over quickley.

edit:

Though, the the writers could have had the pilot use his cannons to shoot down the missles instead.

[21:06] <faninor> I'm watchin the 24 season 5 prequel. :O
[21:08] <Dr.Johny> :O
[21:08] <Dr.Johny> How is it?
[21:13] <faninor> He's in Chicago. :O
[21:13] <faninor> And has longer hair. :O
[21:14] <Dr.Johny> :O
[21:14] <Dr.Johny> But I thought he got banished to Mehico
[21:15] <faninor> Well, he just has to stop being Jack.
[21:15] <faninor> So he took off for a while, this is a year later.
[21:15] <Dr.Johny> oh ok
[21:15] <faninor> Chloe is there too. :O
[21:15] <faninor> She's meeting him.
[21:16] <Dr.Johny> :O
[21:16] <faninor> Somebody accessed CTU computers and discovered that Chloe had altered Jack's autopsy report, thus whoever it was may know that he's still alive.
[21:16] <faninor> Perhaps the Chinese?
[21:17] <faninor> It was the Chinese that wanted him right?
[21:17] <Dr.Johny> yeah
[21:17] <faninor> (that was my speculation, not theirs)
[21:17] <Dr.Johny> Is tony there?
[21:17] <faninor> Chloe's leaving.
[21:17] <faninor> Nope it's just them so far.
[21:18] <Dr.Johny> dang
[21:18] <faninor> Jack's asking Chloe how Kim is.
[21:18] <Dr.Johny> Tony better be in this season cause he's cool
[21:18] <faninor> Chloe says Kim was heartbroken, but it's been over a year, she's doing better now... Kim doesn't know that her dad's still alive.
[21:19] <Dr.Johny> :o
[21:19] <Dr.Johny> Maybe Kim will be back?
[21:19] <faninor> Jack throws away his cell phone.
[21:20] <faninor> He's heading back to his car, but a motorcycle is approaching...
[21:20] <Dr.Johny> :o
[21:21] <faninor> He's in his car, the motorcycle stops.
[21:21] <Dr.Johny> :o
[21:21] <faninor> A black car shows up and starts chasing Jack's car.
[21:21] <Dr.Johny> :O
[21:22] <Axtech> cheese it!
[21:22] <Dr.Johny> Peanut butter Jelly
[21:22] <faninor> More chasing.
[21:23] <faninor> Jack can't lose this black car!
[21:23] <Dr.Johny> He didnt waste'em yet?
[21:23] <faninor> Black car skids into a forklift, the forks go through the car's windows.
[21:24] <Dr.Johny> cool!
[21:24] <faninor> The motorcycle pulls up again, and watches Jack's car drive off.
[21:24] <faninor> That's it.
