I am terrified of RE4
I played for like 5 minutes and a zombie with a chainsaw cut my head off. It was a rather frightening experience at 3 in the morning.
Aside from that, its wicked cool.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Can someone please explain this to me...?
I was playing MGS3. Partway through an "Area" (Rassvet, where you have to rescue that Russian scientist Sokolav (sp?)), I decided to save (actually, it was right before I entered the room to the cutscene, because I wanted to first go back and get an item or two - particularily the silencer that I had found earlier, but didn't pick up this time). This morning, I attempted to load from that savepoint, but it didn't work. When the load completed, I was at the start of Rassvet, with all the same items that I started with in that area - except that all of my food had gone rotten. It was as if I had just sat there at the start of that area for the time it took to play, but didn't do anything.
What the hell? Can I not save partway through an area?

Very good. Awesome, in fact.
At first, though, I misinterpreted the objective. I thought that when he said I was to make "absolutely no contact", it meant that I couldn't raise an alert, and that I couldn't kill anyone (as then they'd know that someone had been there). That made the first part, Virtuous Mission, extremely hard, when it's really just like a basic mission to get you used to the game.
I LOVE how intelligent the enimies are. Even better than MGS2.

How do you mean?
Personally, I kind of like the camera setup. It's less awkward than before, since you can use the right analogue stick to adjust the camera position.
One awkward thing is the first-person view in high grass. But that adds a really cool realistic element - if they can't see you, it should be hard for you to watch them.

for those of you who like Hockey, and in particular management simulations, Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 comes out in the next couple month. A demo was just put up last week, so I'd advise people to check it out.
here's the website for it. http://www.sigames.com/softography.php?type=view&id=19
It's by far the most realistic hockey game ever made, and it's from the same company that made the Football Manager 2005 (Worldwide Soccer manager here in North America).

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Craving some Sim car racing in the vein of GT4? No PS2? Got X-box? Then Forza Motorsport is your answer! Not only is it on equal footing in sheer quality in comparision to GT4 but it surpasses it in some aspects. Heresy you say! No lad, I speak only the truth. Not only does it have an amazing online component, its AI is also a vicous, cut throat beast. Mind you GT4 does have more cars. (forza only has 233) but half the cars in GT4 arent really that drivable in a game situation. Anyway this ends my plug for today.
Oh and Halo 2 is still as awesome as ever. Did anyone say NEW MAPS???

I only have the free maps so far for Halo 2, also Forza is good, the biggest reason is because of the online play. When GT4 scrapped online play that was a huge mistake in my opinion. I can't really say that Forza's graphics make it a better game because everyone knows that PS2 can't match up to XBOX's graphics anyway. It's a lot of fun though and most GT fans will enjoy it, probably not as much, but it's still a good game.
