Hot Hot Heat - Elevator

Post by nelison »

I was surprised there wasn't a thread about this fantastic album yet. If you haven't heard their single "goodnight goodnight" you might want to get out from under that rock of yours. The album takes off from where Make up the breakdown left off. The songs are fantastic and although not quite as "I wanna get up and dance" as MUTB was, the songs are structured a lot better while still maintaining that fun/upbeat HHH sound.

Pick up the album, and then discuss it here :D
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I like it very muchly.

I was a little surprised to hear that a lot of people were criticizing the album because it was too far away from Make up the Breakdown. I don't know what album they were listening to because I think Elevator is really good and still has the same sort of sound as the last album.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Being in close proximity to females in an elevator doesn't count as "doing anyone". Just so you know.
