Wow! I really need to move to Canada. My pretty average 2 bedroom apartment is worth about 4 times that!
and *big hugs* for Matt. Stupid evil cancer *stabs repeatedly*
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

My apartment's worth $400,000 Canadian. To buy a house smaller than my apartment (ie teeny) would cost $500,000!

Wow Cass those are some fine math skills
ya my mom's place is a three bedroom 2 bathroom place. It's kinda in an older section of town, and Welland is not a very good place to live anyways in terms of land value. You can get an amazing house for maybe 150,000. Toronto and its suburbs have a typical average price of like 300,000.

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I'm so sorry Matt, thats terrible.
Here, there is some loony who wants to have the largest castle on each coast of Canada, but besides that a large house would be around 500,000. That a really big house though. I would estimate that the average would be around 170,000 for most houses.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I looked up houses in Collingswood that are about the size of mine (4 bedroom, 1 and a half bath), and it seems they're worth about $300,000... and I'm sure they're going up. Our town has become crazy popular.
Anyway, Matt, I'm so sorry.
*hugs*

What wouldn't matter?
It's mainly the land that is valuable where I am too.
