all the ontario schools with aviation programs require that you get your pilot's license through them, so it's part of the program. some schools in other provinces (ie Okanagan) don't have that requirement so you need to get your license privately before entering the program. watch for that.

I'm sure Ryerson university has that in some form.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

International (including US): $11,000

Dude...that's ALOT more than I pay. Even with the money difference.

Almost all schools have some form of digital arts. I've been to three universities and all of them have it. Every school calls it something different, but as far as I can tell, that really doesn't matter.

all figures CDN, natch.

does that $11,000 include tuition and board for the whole year? if it did, holy crap that is an amazing price. here at the STATE school i wanted to go to (which are a lot cheaper than private ones) living away from home would have cost $14,791 a year which comes out to $18,300 a year CDN.

I LOVE Utah. Holy geez. I pay my rent (about $3000 a year give or take), tuition (also about $3000/year), and then food money and all that, I can squak by with $1000/year on that. $7000 total.

Holy crap. I feel ill now. I shouldn't have odne that.

Yeah well people in Utah generally get paid less than people in other states for the same job, so there's that. But yeah, Utah has really good prices for their schools. I also go to a private school right now, and that's about $500/year more.

now i totally want to move to utah for college. pretty much moving away anywhere in michigan is going to cost more than $10,000 a year. University of Michigan is $16,000 /yr MSU is $14,791 / yr and even the lesser known state schools like Eastern, Western, Central and Northern are like, $13,000 / yr at LEAST. ugh i need to stop, this is making me depressed.

I know what you mean!

All of Utah's schools are really good too. They have marvelous health programs. But......I'm not sure you'd like Utah.
