oopsy beth..i voted by accident...by chance does this have anything to do with the fact that guys tend to call you by your shortened name ONLY? i get that all the time...i can't think of one guy that calls me stephanie...not even my male teachers..even though i usually tell people to call me stephanie....its wierd

Ahh..Stephanie found out the meaning of my experiment!!!!!! :roll:

Ok...When people ask what my name is, I ALWAYS say Bethany. Sometimes people ask me if I go by Beth or Bethany, I really don't care, though... BUT, like 75% of the time, guys ALWAYS end up calling me Beth, even when they didn't ask or anything. It's sooooo weird.

So, now you guys have to explain why you picked Beth. I think I know why, but I want some further explanation... :nod:

I have to admit, I'd call you Beth too. Bethany is a pretty name, but I have a tendancy to shorten names...Travis...Trav...Elizabeth...Lizard

But that's only if the person doesn't care. If they say that they want to be called something...that's what I'll call them. So which do you prefer?
