the lyrics still seem really simple... at least in "don't ask why" they do...
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

"It's a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself. Makes you wonder what else you can do that you've forgotten about"

The Best Day of Your Life is.... REAAAALLY different from the video we have.
This is my story both humble and true,
Take it to pieces and mend it with glue.

seriously guys. WHY CANT I FIND THEM.
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

"best day of your life" sounds weird, in my opinion... but hell, if it's on the album, it'll probably end ujp one of my favourites.
"if the nuremberg trials were applied to us foreign policy, every us president since 1945 would have been hanged." noam chomsky.

...and this is me hanging on / i'd burn our initials in the sun if it would shine / anxiety chokes me like razor wire / if hate's in your heart man, you'll take what you're given / wake up / i'm not the only one / it's never goodbye / go ahead and play dead / if everyone's a casualty, then take your time, there ain't no trouble / these wounds they will not heal / ambition can be a tricky thing / what the hell do i know about rape anyway? / this is not what i hoped for / ain't it so weird how it makes you a weapon / who will be there to tell me how stupid i am? / those living for death will die by their own hand / and it's me that I am spying on / pick up the pieces and live with the stars / hurry up and wait / things have never been so swell / they're always the ones who slowly drift / be great / ...and this is my world.

Not diggin' this "new sound" at all. What the hell happened to our OLP? It's that little biatch Avril Lavigne that turned Raine into a hippity hopper.

Is it just me or has Don't Ask Why changed COMPLETELY? That's cool. I'll wait till the album comes out to state an opinion on the songs. I'm confused right now.

just heard 'World on a String' ... still not impressed. Seems too generic, there's nothing really special at all.

ya you know what? I heard the first song with the falsetto. I don't remember what it is and thought it was good. I've heard 3 other songs and haven't been too impressed. I dunno why I just feel like I'm listening to some sort of pseudo-rock. Like you know how we make fun of Good charlotte for being fake punk... that's how I feel right now... I dunno.

World on String is like a rock version of Sarah Harmer

I know! It's confusing! I think it might have something to do with the context that it's in though. That's why I reserve judgement for a later date. I think I've heard about 6 songs now. That's kinda.... a lot for a preview isn't it?

I want everyone to download "Around this Corner" by Sarah Harmer and tell me that the intros aren't the same, only OLP are using electric guitars, instead of sounding folky.
