So, anyway... progress of painting the office thus far:

Moved ALL furniture out of the room, and millions of books, computer parts, and crap from the bookcase, desk, etc.

Mom painted the ceiling while I watched and cleaned up any drips that went on the wood panelling on one wall.

I spraypainted the (huge) desk with one coat of plastic primer.

I spraypainted the (huge) desk with two/three coats of tannish/brownish spraypaint.

I rolled the walls with dark green paint.

I rolled the walls with dark green paint.

I rolled the walls with dark green paint.

(That's right, THREE coats.)

*dies*

I should mention also that this spraypainting was done in the room, which only has one window. I think I'm still high from the fumes from two days ago. :nikki:

How about none? There is no evidance that says that downloading has caused any significant damage to the music industry at all. There are fluxuations in the market at all time and people are looking for a suitable reason for it. They blamed downloading. (Which may or may not have actually had an effect) but the truth is, no one can prove they lost anything. When you actually look at todays current market you'll see that a higher emphasis has been placed on video games and a lot of DVDs are expensive. Wouldn't it make sense that when people buy a ton of movies they just don't have any money to buy overpriced cd's as well? Or maybe its the fact that the music industry is pumping out a lot of shit and no one wants to pay for it anymore. Maybe napster is to blame for all the industrys problems, but I know I'm not going to buy Brittneys cd, and its not because I downloaded it.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

How about the simple fact that music has sucked the past 4 or 5 years? It's true, you all know it. Sure there is the occasional gem, but for the most part, music has gone downhill recently, right across the map.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?
