is this really news though? I mean we've known about this for a couple years haven't we?
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

As scared as I am... I really can't blame them. I wouldn't wanna get rid of them with Bush in office, either.

While I don't really enjoy the idea of country's like N. Korea having nukes, I can definitely see their point. Isn't it a bit hypocritical that the country with enough nukes to destroy the planet several times over (read USA) is always leading the charge to disarm every other country? Maybe if country's like the US and Russia completely got rid of nukes other country's wouldn't feel threatened and would follow suit. Let's just hope none of the country's with nukes ever use them.

What about the terrorists? I don't think that they would have a problem using them.

North Korea has been working on this since before Bush was in office, though.

Yeah, what often happens is that these weapons are smuggled out and sold on the black market for money. There are many illegal weapons still on the market from when the USSR broke up. I think that what they're really afraid of is the idea of a country like North Korea falling into a difficult financial situation and selling them off for money. That's the main reason they're against Iran's attempt to work with nuclear technology, because it's run as a theocracy with the populace tending to lean towards the "extremist" category. There's already a huge Anti-American sentiment there, if you hand them a few nukes who knows what can happen.
