Yeah, I think everyone is. I only managed to sign on once today, and when I did very few of my contacts were online, even though I know some of them were on the internet

You need to link a picture URL from a different site, or UPLOAD one to the CM, then use the image option with that pics URL

There's no upload option in your profile, like there is for your avatar.

Help. I need to know how to save quicktime files that dont have a "save as" option.

If you're using quicktime Pro, you can use the EXPORT AS option which might allow you to convert them to MPEG etc... If you're using a quicktime player that's built into Explorer, there should be a drop down arrow on the bottom right that will allow you to save the file. However, they often disable the save option on purpose if it's a built-in player.

True, if it's not streamed. If you even run a search, you can usually find the file, look for all of the *.mov

files or try searching the file name and it should come up in temp internet files

What's the link? I could try to see if there's a way to save it from the built in player.

Once the video was completely loaded, I right clicked on the video screen and it gave me two options, SAVE AS SOURCE or SAVE AS QUICKTIME MOVIE, however, while the video was loading, those options were not available, if you aren't given the same options, I'll send you the videos on MSN.

The drop down arrow at the bottom right of the screen has the same options which are available after the video has loaded.

Ok so thanks to lando I got the files. However now i'm looking into ripping/saving macromedia flash streams. The website I want to rip them from is completely flash based so I'm having an incredibly hard time finding the URL's. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're trying to save a stream, Nikki, Josh and a few others know of a few good programs to capture streamed video. I'm not on a PC usually, so I don't have a need for the program.

Ok. So apparently XP is doing a random check to see if this is my copy, which it is. The problem is that using Internet Explorer, I cannot open any Microsoft/MSN/Hotmail windows. I don't know why, its been like this for so long, and It didnt matter because we have Firefox. Except that now I have to activate windows to prove its my copy, and I cant, therefore I cannot use my computer in its entirety.

What the fuck am I supposed to do?

Everytime it comes on to a Microsoft site it flips to "Search Now" or something.
