So we've all wondered what this song is about, and I don't think anyone's really come to any conclusions. But I found something interesting. We know from the mention of Keroauc in All For You, and the link to Kerouac's website on olp.net that Raine is a Kerouac fan. So it's then a reasonable assumption to say that he's a general Beat fan. Maybe not, but maybe so. In light of that, I'd like to defer your attention to a picture originally printed in the 50s, by a famous Beat writer (painter?) who's name escapes me.

This is my story both humble and true,
Take it to pieces and mend it with glue.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.
Allright, this has nothing to do with "Everyone's a Junkie," but I think that the song "Not Afraid" was written for the spiderman soundtrack, or perhaps the new version was recorded for it. So if it was...I call it.
There were rumours that SOT was going to be on the soundtrack but that didn't end up happening. There were also rumours that OTIF was going to be on the Daredevil soundtrack however that was also false.
