the pre-sale was screwed up.. My friend tried for Floor(GA) for Chicago, Philly, Boston, NY and NJ... all sold out the minute went on sale... I told her to check for other seats. I went back in on my lunch break and got a $95.00 for NJ.. It was close to the stage so I bought it.. I asked my other friend to look on ebay and sure enough there were lots of tickets there. I think she said there was a pair for boston for $1500..

I said I would only get the $160 if I was on top of stage. I can only imgaine what the regular ticket sale is goingto be like.. We lucked out las ttime cause I got for 3 shows( we had to mail in request) and was able to get release seats for other shows..

it is still 4 months off, but I am goign to try for Chicago, PHilly, NY and Boston..

they will add more dates cause there are no Canadian dates beside the 1 vancover, no southern dates, no florida dates, etc.. They are only doing 13 cities.. I know they will be back in the fall..

LANDO: did you end up getting any tickets. There are some left, but I don;t like the location..

to answer you question the floors(GA) wer eth echeapest and the upper( last 5-10 aisles) i think were cheap.. They also sold behind stage.. This is like the last time they played.. Ticket prices..

It is a bitch cause it was never this hard to get tickets for U2.. All these new fans and scalpers get in and get teh seats then sell them on ebay for hundreds of dollars. People will pay it.. Sad for the real fans..

there's about a 100% chance I'm going to choose Vancouver. Because it was the one I wanted to go to and because I haven't missed it's pre-sale yet!

What I don't get is why the Floor is so much cheaper. Usually floor tickets cost more...

And no I didn't try for tickets, I'm going to wait for the presale for Vancouver. In case I miss the email (The last one was sent to my JUNK inboxz), let me know if you hear when the Vancouver presale will be.

will do lando..( about vancover pre-sale) I thought they went on all ready..

funny thing is I went back in last night.. you can only get 2 tickets for one show. it let me punch in for another show.>Wonder if I processed it if it would of went through..

as for the cheap seats, it is suppose to be for the fans. the only problem is aobut 1/4 gopes to fans and the rest fo toscalpers.. it happened last time..

at least I got one seat for one of the shows. I am going to paly it by ear.. May is a olong way off and I thknk we may see about Chicago..

on a different note/band. they had a pre-sal efor Interpol's second NY show today.. I had 5th row seats but my card was short 10 dollars. if I din;t have to pay fees I would of gotten the ticket. Ther eis no place on their pre-sale site to have the ticket held at box office. Oh well. I will play that by ear. I do have tickets for their other shows and am seeing them in Cali.. ( hoefully) I am suppose to go to Cali for my vacation, but stuff giong on here..

U2.com wrote:In North America, general admission floor tickets will be $49.50 (plus applicable service fees).

That is so incredibly unfair. I think it's £55 for a floor ticket here. That's $103 US. Seats are £45, £65 and £85 I think.

On a lighter note, I just found this on ebay:

hahaha that's funny and sooz, at least you guys can get 4 tickets for the presale, even if they are $100 usa, i'd prefer that to only being allowed 2 tickets, since i have to drive all the way to vancouver (20 hours) it would help to have more people in on the trip to save me money.

Yeah, but you have to be a paid up member of the fan club to be allowed into the presale. And I'm not. :(

Ticketmaster had all kinds of problems during the presale, so I'm not holding out that much hope of it going well for the real sale. I'll have to perfect the 'press redial with one hand whilst clicking on refresh on 4 different sites with the other' technique and hope that that works!

So far I've reported 4 U2 ticket sellers to ebay for listing violations. It's not getting the big touts who know what they're doing, but it makes me feel a little bit better. Charging 5 times as much as a ticket's worth is bad enough without adding a 4% paypal charge on top (which is illegal here). Also bad - charging £20 for postage which only costs £3.75. How greedy can people be???

Soozy,

too bad you didn't want Manchester. They still have standing. I think it came to 65 pounds.. London only had reserve seating left..

To answer your question about the price.. It is 50, 95, and 160 in the market of the show..( at least that was my understanding form everything) So of course 50 pounds will cose alot in usa money. Just like if I bought the manchester seat it would of cost me about 120 for floors when it is only 65 here(after service scharges)

Lando still no word on Vancouver tickets.. I keep going back in and looking for the cheap seats. i got a 95 seat( 111 after charges) for the Second New jeresy show. Iwant to try to get Boston(2nd night) since tha tis th elast North AMerica Date on the tour..

also it was 2 tickets for venues and 4 tickets for stadium.. The regular sale is 8 ticket limit. only 2 floors and 6 seats..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Woo I got 2 standing tickets for the 2nd London show. After an hour of refreshing 3 different websites and trying to call and everything seeming really dead it suddenly worked like a dream. Yay :D

congrats!! I sure hope I can get two GA tickets for Vancouver and a third one somehow magically, or it's going to be hard to convince people to go, if I can only get one friend in on the deal and they can't get onto the floor...

Lando: yeah I refreshed with my code. they said only 2 tickets for one show, but I was able to go through for more then one show( to see what was coming up)l.. I am going to wait till May cause I am going to Cali in 2 weeks for vacation( if nothing goes wrong) and don't have extra money for U2..plus I just got my ticket for Interpol's NYC shows..5th and 3rd row.. Yeah....

I will let you know about the Vancouver presale cause the links they emailed us still work to go in for pre-sales... Good luck..

My friend told me theat the U2.com dsite was going after people who put their tikcets up on ebay. I think Boston was for $1500 the other day. We are going to wait to get tickets.. if we don;'t get floors this time..

if you sign in on the site will give you the code to go on line.. I can mail you the links if need be., I think they may add another Seatlle date..
