the pain between my eyes
is a heavy loaded pain.
it sinks down deep and spreads outwards,
like smoke billowing into a small room.
cool glass against my skull
threatens to engulf me,
draw me in
and spit me out
to fall to the asphalt below.
cool glass against my skin
presses down with
ugly relief
and careful construction,
drawing the teabag from the brew.
beware the careful plan,
the mutually assured destruction;
i am the nuclear warhead
and i can feel the impending detonation.
can you hear the coming thunder in your bones?
is a heavy loaded pain.
it sinks down deep and spreads outwards,
like smoke billowing into a small room.
cool glass against my skull
threatens to engulf me,
draw me in
and spit me out
to fall to the asphalt below.

and careful construction,

the mutually assured destruction;

and i can feel the impending detonation.

oh...and no one said anything about the poem i wrote or the songs i sang

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf
Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...
Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...
So glad you could stay
Forever
He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand
You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..
So glad you could stay
Forever
