Woodstock 2005?

Post by jeremy_a »

I happened to come across this on the net:
Official Woodstock.com Newsletter

No one thought it would happen again but after many years it's back!!!

Woodstock's newest installment Woodstock 2005 will feature over 50 bands and tons of activites that are out of this world.

Due to the destruction of Woodstock 99 we have been forced to move the festival to a different place, this year we're going to rock one of the biggest cities in Canada.....Toronto!

Woodstock 2005 will take place July 13th, 14th, and 15th 2005.

Some of the bands that have been confirmed are:

Linkin Park
Eminem
Black Sabbath
Eric Clapton
The Police
Blink 182
Green Day
Slipknot
and
Metallica

Plus a special guest (hint: When these guys play it'll be so hot you're gonna be wishing for some "November Rain".)

MORE UPDATES LATER.

I find this hard to believe considering the fact that both The Police and Guns N' Roses have broken up and will probably never get back together again. And the fact that they probably would never take Woodstock out of New York. But if it was in Toronto, that would be fucking sweet (I live in Toronto :D ).

Wow, how terribly fake that is.

Note: They wouldn't call it Woodstock if it was in not only in another city, but another country. Plus, there isn't an actual woodstock.com yet, so there can't possibly be a newsletter from a site that doesn't exist yet. The writer of that fake newsletter needed to be more creative.

There's a Woodstock not far from Toronto!
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

Even if it is true... "after many years it's back"... 6 years is "many" now? :wtf:

that's an awfully cruel joke :(
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know
