kermit, that sounds pretty cool! I'd love to have a job like that!

Ben does kinda remind me of Raine but for some reason, I just can't stand his voice. Like the new Billy Talent song...I find it to be a really good song but his voice just kills me! It's sooo whiny...

oh man i love that song, i just can't get enough of it. but you know, some people say the same thing about raine's voice...that it's too whiney and nasal-ish.

 i love annoying voices.

except when they're completely monotone (a la Killers) and rough/growly-ish (a la Nickelback, Theory, etc.)

*shudder*

Whoa...that is so cool! Did you get to talk to him? I got his autograph once but was too awestruck to strike up a conversation. :(

And yeah, I realize that Raine's voice is beyond annoying to some people but in my biased view, I find it unique. The guy from Billy Talent is just screamy and whiny...almost like Pierre from Simple Plan. I can't stand those types of voices.

I didn't get a chance to talk to him, I was too starstruck because it was just so out of the blue so I stuttered and transfered the call haha.
I like those kind of voices though, I think that Avril can definately achieve such uniqueness in her voice if she just lets go...Alanis Morisette's voice on You Oughta Know is amazing, I wish she never changed.

Ahhh...he was willing to talk to you and you transferred the call??? :wtf:

Are you trying to compare Alanis's voice to the voices from my 'whiny voice' category? :freak: 'Cause I really don't see any similarities. Avril has a pretty unique voice...I'd recognize her voice on the radio even if I didn't know the song.

BTW, I added you to my MSN...can I have the song? :)

Well the guy was expecting a call from David Usher, and if I interviewed him I would have to write the article, and he would have gotten mad.
I'm not saying that Alanis has a whiny voice, just a unique one, until she just turned all mainstream CHUM music.

Hahaha...you should have just stolen that article from him! And if he got mad, then I would have just been like "Hey, David offered!"

I still like Alanis but why does having happy songs mean having pop songs? :( I couldn't stand "Everything".

Speaking of "2 Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place"...Nathan Fillion graduated from the high school closest to my house. :)
