What MGB fan can name the song from where my sig comes from?

Flashdance II? But it's "You could sell the sad the world tonight" unless it's another song that you're thinking of...

I'm a huge MGB fan, and BM is there greatest work of all time. I love all the albums, but BM is the best one, you can't beat Giant. Best.Song.Ever.

I also really enjoy Underdogs, LOTGA and AOB, but BM will always be my fave. I haven't listened to AoB in a long time. i never really got that into it, cause the band had broken up and there was no tour and stuff...I would really love to see Matt Good live this summer, I loved MGB live, and he playes new and old stuff so it would be great. He's playing alot of summer dates so maybe i will, you can't beat MG(B) live :P

No. You were right. I love Flashdance - I only realised what that lyric was when I got my "Pleasurable Headache" booklet with AoB. Mmm. Limited edition.

Mmm...I'm not sure yet, I gotta give it another listen.

I really like the cheers in the beggining of Giant that go "K-I-C-K-A-S-S! That's the way we spell success!". I think it's funny.

I like all of the songs I've heard, really. I usually don't pay attention when I'm listening to CDs because I play 'em when I'm asleep. But I like what I've heard.

Giant is a great opener. Do you have Audio Of Being as well?

AoB is harder than BM... or is it just me?

Ohhh Ahree! Try listening to Born to Kill (second last track on BM) at full blast with headphones when you're trying to sleep... heehee, I did that the first time I listened to BtK and fell out of bed

And no my title isn't orignial  can't decide whether to go with it or Apparition

I will spend my greatest effort to keep this thread alive.

Can someone tell me their interpretation of Suburbia? I'm not a really analytical person so a lot of songs from Matt Good I don't really get, it seems to me that a lot of Matt Good songs are procrastinating non-conformity, but is that all this man has to say about life?

To me, the whole tone and sound of Suburbia transcends its "meaning" - it has a dream-like quality to it. It is a very personal song, that means something very different to different people. I wouldn't say it's about "non-conformity" exactly, more like a lament on modern day society. Matt does have other, positive things to say - Truffle Pigs is an anthem for personal perseverance, and many of the songs of Beautiful Midnight had "positive messages" i.e. Jenni's Song, Hello Time Bomb.

By the way, has anyone heard the new live version of Symbolistic White Walls - you can download it off the FTP site at primetimedeliverance.net. It sounds amazing.

Good choice. What do you think of Born To Kill?

I like it.

I like all the songs on Beautiful Midnight, LOL. But I really need to listen to it straight through without falling asleep...Exams are coming up so I'll be doing a lot of listening whilst studying.
