Why can't you comment? Are you in the military?

My anonimity is an obligation -- I will leave it at that.

As to the rest of what I've seen, I can only say that I think that it is fortunate that some of us are afforded the luxury of living in a world sheltered from the ugliness and stink of reality. Let me just say that some of you need to keep digging and be cautious of your sources. Be very wary of the media. Anyway, thank you for your time. I, unfortunately have next to none as you may have noticed, judging by my lack of presence here.

uh wha... ok, did you simply come on here to parade your supposed 'inside knowledge'? this is an message board for a fairly unknown canadian rock band... you need to get some friends to brag to. My god, if you actually had any real information, instead of someone being like "ooooh, keep this a secret" and you getting a little too overexcited, you'd be...I dont know, maybe NOT MAKING SURE EVERYONE KNEW?

uh...im oh so glad that you obviously know something that we all dont, but you dont have a point at all. we've already discussed this in detail, and if you don't 'have the time', then why did you start such a pointless thread trying to boost your ego with nonexistant sources? :wtf:

i actually burst out laughing at "My anonimity is an obligation -- I will leave it at that.", i'll give you props for that

I laughed at it too. If this "anonymous" dude was actually important in his secret missions, how would he have time to go on a message board.

Actually, I don't care what anyone thinks about what I may or may not know. Furthermore, I think I made it clear that the purpose of this thread was to get a feel for generally how long people think the American Military will be so fully engaged in Iraq and how they thought the then presidential candidates would affect this matter. My caveat was simply to make it clear why I would not really engage in a discussion of my opinion. I don't think it's cool I know things the GP cannot know. It makes my conclusions non-debatable because I cannot divulge my sources and any debate would inevitably work its way back there or at least point in the general direction.

At one time, there were a lot of minds here that I could relate to. It is clear to me now that this is not the place to get a pulse on political opinion, however to point out that this is just a site for a Canadian Rock band is a bit ludicrous considering that the vast majority of discussion in these forums has little or nothing to do with them.

My last comment, which obviously offended you and was admittedly offensive in nature, was an expression of my disappointment. However, it is irrelevant and I should not have made it. There is enough information available to the general public for them to make better conclusions than what I have seen, however. I would encourage people to be more politically active and do some leg work. That's all I'm really pointing at here. Needless to say, this is an area of the forums I will not revisit as I'm sure you'll be glad.
