A visit to Toronto....

Post by Rusty »

What happens when you put Dom, Emily and Russell together in Toronto? Pure and utter chaos.

Me and Emily arrived at Union station to await the arrival of Dom, when we were confronted by an old woman, who originally stopped to the ask the time but then trailed off into a story about christmas shopping, candy, and sending out gifts. Not five minutes after, a gothic cowboy passed us. He had on a cowboy hat, cowboy boots, the classic wild wild west beard, a long black trench coat and a t-shirt with m&m's on it.

Then Dom arrived, hoping the weirdness of Toronto had passed we went to greet her. We had just barley said hi, when an old man in a business suit carrying a bag walked by and farted very loudly. Eager to escape Union station we hurried outside to the fresh air. Whilst merrily walking along, some strange woman hit Emily with her umbrella, and then someone threw a broom at me.

Well we hurried along, surley the rest of Toronto couldn't be this odd. Well we walked up where some worker stepped out from behind a corner causing me to almost trip over him. Well we hustled along, and we couldn't help the noticing the abundance of porn stores, Toronto is dirty in more ways than one I guess. Well anyway, around the next corner we were confronted by a hobo. Well we didn't have any change so we kept walking and he was shouting from behind us that we could hear him.

Also while waiting for the lights to change, a weird guy wearing a dream catcher as an earring came up and started shouting at us about fast food restaurants and downtown. Then when we reached the eatons centre, some woman came up and asked us if we had a smoke, then she asked us for some change so she could buy ciggarrets.

Well anyway we went into Winners and Emily and Dom wanted me to wear this girly shirt, with no back, no sleeves or straps, low cut and very very tight. Well anyway I took it into the change room and put that bad boy on, and took a picture (will be posted later) It took me 10 minutes to figure how to get into that damn thing, I have a new respect for women and their clothing.

Now what else happened...oh yes, Toronto really needs to label their doors "push" or "pull" I walked into a door thinking it was a push but it wouldn't open. It hurt. I think there was more but I don't remember it all, Emily and Dom you finish it up.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

You say "well" a lot when you start sentences eh? and you might want to try paragraphs... it's so much easier on the eyes.

Anyways, You were probably on Yonge street between Dundas and Carlton because there are probably a good dozen or so XXX stores/shows. It's kinda weird to go from the eaton centre where it's all hip and trendy to a bunch of porno shops, but that's the greatness of downtown Toronto. Sounds like you guys had fun though.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Toronto is not dirty at all. Other Canadian cities are much dirtier. Why? Because all of the funding from government goes to the GTA. I would love to see a city like Windsor get some funding for once.

Seeee? Other people agree. I've been to bunches of cities. Toronto was the cleanest. Heck, TO doesn't even have "city smell".

I'd say the dirtiest I've been to was London, England... Philly'd be second.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

ya my girlfriend lived in that part last year since Ryerson is literally adjacent to Yonge st. Now she lives just up the road a bit in the village where instead of XXX stores you have to pay for, you have gay bars that show XXX movies for free.

yep lol She basically lives at the centre of the "gay-bourhood." Man you guys should have seen the people that were out on Halloween in that neighbourhood. I've never seen anything like it.
