if it helps at all, i can find some info for you as well by going to the registrar's office here.
Thanks. I'm not 100% infact I'm not even 50% sure I want to transfer. I have been to that site, and looked around a little bit, but I'll have to do more looking when I have time.
thanks for the info about email them, I think I might do that soon.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

i kind of want to go there and commute, but then i kinda don't. because i wouldn't be able to live there because hello it's like a million dollars, but then if i commuted i would miss out on ann arbor.
Comparitivly, Mun is pretty cheap. Its like $300 a course.

There is a wonderful Indian restaurant in Salem, Oregon.
If you're going fall semester, be sure to go to a school that's based on a semester system and not a quarter system, or else you'll probably get behind in credits (1.5 quarter credits is equivalent to 1 semester credit) . . . but if you're ahead in your credits, come to a quarter based school and enjoy an extra month of vacation before classes start.

I know it's going to cost lots (they reckon about £1500 extra than it would living here...so about £3000...I don't know what that is in those crazy dollars), but I really think it's worth it. I'm quite lucky in that I don't need to look at the cost of the actual tuition because the uni operates exchange systems with those unis so that I still pay my fees to my uni and the students that come here from there will pay to their uni still. I'm not sure whether that works out more expensive or cheaper: but it's one less thing to worry about!!
I'm currently in the process of emailing mommy re the whole thing. Mommies always know best, imo

There are around 100 000 people here. I think. Maybe 150 000. Not really sure.
Its the biggest city in Newfoundland. Which isn't saying much. But its big enough to be a city but small enough so that we don't get much traffic
The only concern I'd have if I were you would be the weather. We are the windiest city in Canada and the fog capital of the world. But to be honest, the weather thing is more of a joke. Since we are surrounded by water all the weather here is moderate. So in the summer its not very hot and in the winter its not very cold. But we have gotten a LOT of snow in the past couple of years. It hasn't snowed here yet, but I think 4 years ago we had like 7 feet of snow on the ground at one point or something. Crazy.
In conclusion, Mun is good. weather is not.

Haha, I should have said something about that map, eh?
Thats pretty generic. None of the smaller streets are on it. It seems to be a map to the airport though...

I am slightly worried about Canadian weather if I go there. I think it was Concordia that was going on about how there are tunnels joining all the buildings because it's so cold in the winter!!!
Yeah Montreal in the winter is pretty freezing. I walked around for maybe an hour and a half at the beginning of Feb last year and my legs were red raw from the cold and didn't return to a normal temperature for hours! The underground tunnels are great, but you don't really get to see much of the city that way.
Ooh and lots of people there speak this really wierd kind of French which doesn't sound much like real French at all to me and gets me confused
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
