I think this is pretty cool... and I'd love it if the band would keep it up and make a whole "band journal" type thing that the guys add to on a regular basis. Opinions?

Oh for sure..........I'd love reading about teh recording process of their album in particular. Just hearing what they are up to is pretty cool.

tis not fair! why can't they post something more often. the most we get is a picture or a message once in a while. like look at the mg site....

Matt is an extremely rare case, and if you notice he rarely posts about music or his actual day to day stuff. Maybe once every other week or if something noticeable happens on tour he'll point it out, but really he just talks politics.

You have to have a passion for it if you're going to do what Matt does. It takes a lot of effort to post online daily, and if you find it bothersom, it's pointless and you're doing it for the wrong reasons.

I told Stace earlier today on the hub that I thought that would be a great regular thing to have on the site. I really hope that the band will make this a regular thing.

I dunno, it's getting much more popular for bands to have online journals for their fans to read.

i think it's a little out there, i dont think that the band will ever decide to regularly write journals as us...no matter how awesome it would be. but there's always wishful thinking

Considering the members of the band are starting families, and whatnot I don't see how they could have the time. They'd have to gain a knowledge of the net a bit too. Matt created his own site, so he knows how to do all that stuff so it's easy for him to post daily. For all we know Raine can't turn on a computer.

well I don't know which is why I said for all we know Raine might not be able to turn on a computer. Since I don't know a whole lot about the band personally I guess it is possible that Raine is capable of turning on a computer.

I think Jeremy is the computer illiterate one. But if the band is capable of using a computer, I would think that they could find 5 minutes in a week to e-mail their thoughts to Stace. Even Matt doesn't update his site daily. Surely between the 4 of them they can find a few minutes to send an e-mail to Stace.
