just got back from seeing interpol. out of the 3 times i've seen them this was most definitely the best because i am absolutely in love with the new cd. this was one of those concerts where they play everything you want to hear. oh and i got an interpol shirt with a deer on it, so that was cool too.

How was the Secret Machines?

I'd have been there and all, but my boss called me and said he couldn't make it into work today, and that I needed to cover him. And sure enough, he showed up today to pick his check up. Like I wouldn't notice him. Moron.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

the secret machines was definitely a highlight. i loved them, although they kind of acted as if they were the main band, so that was a little weird. i was very impressed though.

did you get Stella at your show? and did Paul come out in the hat for the encores....

I saw their *secret show* last week in NYC. I am going to see them in November when they come back to the East Coast...

I saw the Good Life a couple of nights ago and they were fucking amazing. There were only like 40 people at the show b/c I live in the middle of nowhere and it was at a college in the middle of nowhere.

Neva Dinova played without a microphone for a majority of their set due to power problems and it sounded better then when there was a mic. Everyone should check them out.

Good Life rocked, played 15 songs and were on for about hour and a half. Tim Kasher talked a lot and made fun of me b/c he was discussing his beard and I for some reason asked where it went and he said "where do you think it went? it just fell out over night" so i felt dumb then he called me a web boarder. If you havent checked them out yet you should. Their new album is spectacular.

i'm pretty sure they did, i know for the encore they played leif erikson and roland. paul wore the hat throughout the whole show, he looked like jack white with a black shit and red tie, long srcraggly hair and a black hat.

I've gone concert crazy lately. I saw Alter Bridge on October 4th, Metallica on October 6th, and most recently, Coheed and Cambria on October 13th. I'm seeing Story of the Year tomorrow night, Straylight Run on Friday, Matt Good on Saturday, Green Day on November 2nd, Taking Back Sunday on November 14th, and the Tragically Hip on November 26th.

For all of you who don't know of Straylight Run, I highly recommend them.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

And though the hum and sway gets me down
