So basically, in a field every element has to have an additive inverse (something that you can add to it to get 0) 1+0=1, and 1+1=2 (I'm being lazy here, so let's just accept that those are both true) . . . there has to exist an a such that 1+a=0, and since the only numbers are 0, 1, and 2, 1+2=0.

but in calculator format. 89 is clearly superior to the 83 in so many ways.

I can! :mrgreen: I have a calculator from Radio Shack from probably about 1980 that runs on a single AA battery, and I've only had to change the battery like... once. :lol:

Do they even make non-solar calculators anymore?

My dad got pissed when they wouldn't let me use it in grade 9 science. He phoned the school and asked before I got it, if i could use it for science they said yes, I get to science and they say I can't use it.

Umm, we were just doing random calculations for chemistry and stuff that was too large to do in your head, so i had to get a new calculator for that class :neutral:
