What are some of the older songs Tea Party played? The ones I want to see especially are Sister Awake, Fire in the Head and Winter Solstice.

Did they play any of those?

I saw saturday looks good to me on saturday. it was really fun. They played a lot more upbeat songs than the first time i saw them, which i enjoyed. There was only about 20 people there, which was weird, but the few people that were there had a good time. john vanderslice was on monday. same place. It was a good show, although kind of dampered because I wasn't feeling well. Hmm...I dunno what i'm gonna go to next.
my boyfriend wants me to go to vaux (BLEH) and the blood brothers (BLEH) but i don't want to, because I can't stand either of them.
don't look now, just keep watching the TV hating what's too see waiting for someone to say something that's right.

Pilate are pretty good live. I saw them when the played at Olympic Island with Sloan, and Sam Roberts. They really change up their singles which is nice to hear. They're basically a Coldplay rip off though and it comes across even more when they're live. They're basically Canada's answer to coldplay, but that doesn't mean they don't put on a good show.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I got into INTERPOL's secret show last night.

I had the best time. They start their tour tonight in Boston... Last night as a sort of Thank You to friends, family and a few lucky fans( they only released 200 tickets to the fans) they did a show at teh Bowery Ballroom in NYC. This is a smaller venue. If any of you ever saw Coyote Ugly it is the club she plays at the end.. It has a great sound. I was glad I got in.

Had the best time and met some great people. Plus got to hear lots of songs of ANTICS live, and a few older ones..

i saw matt last night, besides being extremly tired, it was an excellent show
iv never seen a crowd so polite, so made for a more enjoyable show in some ways.

they brought back 21st century living with new recorded messages

and played the rat who would be king and considering that they never played the song live , it was really well done, christian just about nailed the song and matt's vocals on it were suburb

also carmelina was played as part of load me up.

Ahhh the Libertines.

Nothing like some good ol' punk rock to make someone feel warm at night.

If they're coming to your town, please go see them live. They're surprisingly good, even if they just got a new singer.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

The Libertines have a new singer? I know Pete left/got kicked out, but I just assumed Carl was doing more singing.

And yeah, everyone go and see them live cos they're great!
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

so Jimmy Eat World is playing a radio show in detroit, opening for Good Charlotte.

I bookmarked their tour-dates page like three weeks ago, just so i'd know as soon as a Detroit date was set.

and now this

exactly. franz and JEW would be a damn good show, but not with all the little punks in the crowd, and not with 'Phat Matt' coming on stage all the time getting them riled up.

i might go still, if i can't get up to toronto to see them.

JEW is coming here soon...I am debating between them and Yellowcard.

I'm going to Switchfoot tomorrow.
