Parable is an awesome song. I love the piano.

Also, Rico does not suck. It makes me happy. :P

So my girlfriend was front row centre for today's show at Ryerson. She grabbed a set list and a new song was played (I think it was called Big City Life on the setlist but I can't remember now). Afterwards she got to meet him and spoke with him for a good 5/10 mins. So thanks to her I now have a signed White Light CD made out specifically to me.

Rico isn't great but for some reason the "If your friends don't like me you can tell them to fuck off, fuck off, fuck off, fuck off" made the song
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

That's cool for your girlfriend Jim :D Big City Life was played at some of the shows back in June - I heard it in Calgary and I like :)

I'm glad Rico makes you happy Jess, but I really can't stand it! Each to his or her own I suppose :)

And I'd love to go to the Winnipeg show, but I can't :( You'll still have fun on your own though Sean :D

Damn people have money to spend. I was on ebay looking for something and decided for the hell of it to type in Matthew Good.

Loser Anthems(blus one) is up to $170.00
LO-Fi B-sides-$103.00

wow that is alot of cash. I would never pay that much for a cd. I don't care who it is. $170.00. Damn that is almost the price of a plane ticket for me to go to Canada and see him play.

New show on TM:

St Andrews Hall Detroit - Friday 12th November. All ages.

And it doesn't look like Auf Der Maur and Limblifter are doing the US dates - there's something on mg.org about them not doing Buffalo.

Now do I want to go from Buffalo to Detroit for Matt or fly back to NYC for Interpol. They are playing the 11th and 12th of November here.

my friend just emailed me that Matt is playing in Ottawa again Oct 25th at Capitol Music Hall.

Damn, why couldn't it have been 1 week later when I am on vacation and have the time off? :(

It would of been great to see him with my friend again.
