I don't know. I mean, if I had recorded 40+ songs (I think that's right) I'd want to get them out there somehow. EP's seem like a good way to do it. Though, I would not mind if they just put them up for download. But, of course, then I wouldn't get neat little cover arts and stuff!

Well, you would have to go to Canada, or try to find it for sale online. If Sony is going to make money on it, there will be a way for anyone to get the music.

Getting the EP's would be easy. Chances are, amazon.com/ca would have it. Or, worst case scenario, go on eBay and wait for someone who didn't like it.

i'd much rather see them do like a rarities album of the best of all the unreleased tracks (especially trapeze :drool:

) and then have an extra link to use with the cds so you can downlaod more ... shit i'm greedy. and it would never happen.

What they might do (and by they, I mean me if I were in their position) is release a bonus disc with the early printings of the album (so that if one were to get it on opening day, they would be sure to get it). On the bonus disc, have a bunch of random live songs, rarities (studio), and stuff. As well as weblinks, like liam said. Then I can feel special for having a special edition :-[ Just so long as it's in a separate box. I don't want them messing with the arts or the packaging anyway.

But that's about as like as pigs freezing over.

They could do it a number of ways. Through downloads, EPs, Special edition cds, or even through singles. Release a single, and put three extra songs on it.

I can't decide on the selling EP's at shows thing. First off, would all the EP's be sold at all shows, or would some EP's be available some places, and others other places? Also, even if it is the first option, how expensive would these be? I just paid probably forty+ dollars on a ticket, I'm not ready to shell out another forty to get all the b-side songs (assuming five bucks an EP, five songs on each).
