You still didn't tell me how Moore can get away with all of that without being sued. Also, you show no proof behind your numbers other than saying "I talk to protesters and 70% of them don't have a clue what they're talking about." Unless you've talked to every single one, that doesn't work.

Also simply because only 5% of the world has the capacity to understand one of the most complex mathematical equations to ever exist, doesn't mean the rest of the world isn't allowed to make an attempt. The same applies to politics.

Anyways, a protester doesn't need to be a political science buff to protest. If he sees on the news that one of his friends died in a war based on lies, then he doesn't need to know anything more than that to want to go to an anti-war demonstration. It's his right, and no one can say otherwise. To say that only the educated can protest is a step backwards for democracy

if you guys are going to support him couldn't you please stop calling him brilliant? he's not brilliant. he is funny, but not brilliant funny, and he does not know jack shit about politics.

I don't think he's brilliant, Noam Chomsky is brilliant, but he makes pathetic films, while Moore makes excellent films. As a pure film maker Moore has talent. And let's face it, for the average person, Moore's movies are a step up on the channal 5 news.

There are two things though I will bring up for you to ponder, since it really isn't on topic. 1. Moore uses 3 sets of lawyers and fact checkers from various credited sources, including the New Yorker. How could so many people have missed so many lies? 2. If Moore has lied, why hasn't he been sued by the many groups/people who he has supposedly lied about?

Personally I think Moore is a great movie maker and at least is trying to educate the masses, or at least spark some sort of flame from wthin.

Its called Freedom of Speech. He is not a great movie maker. He's a good propagandist. I wouldn't call them lies, I'll call them misrepresentations of the truth.

Australia is definetly not as liberal as canada. Would you call a country who BANNED Gay marriage to be liberal? Australia did. Even American hasnt banned it.[yet]

Since I live here... i would say we are liberal. Since I have also spent a great deal of time in the US and Canada. I do believe I have some authority on which to make that comment.

I think I read something earlier about how the only RNC protest footage getting shown on US tv is the violent stuff. Is that true or did I misread it? I haven't seen any violent protests shown on the news here, just lots of footage of the nice peaceful peoples.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Apparently not Liberal enough to allow homosexual people equal rights. 39 of the 46 seats voting on the bill voted yes to ban gay marriage. Yeah, thats super duper liberal.

a country can be liberal and still ban gay marriages. Gay marriages is just one aspect of many that make up liberalism.

I had better things to do than watch him struggle through a speeech. I'll just watch the Daily Show, and I'm sure Jon Stewart will help point out all the finer points of Bush's speech.
