Punk Rock Holocaust Synopsis:
On the Vans 2003 Warped Tour, Backseat Conceptions produced a film called "Punk Rock Holocaust". This slasher/zombie comedy has something for horror movie fans, Warped Tour fans and punkers alike with hilarious scenes and brutal murders of 23 bands featuring Warped Tour favorites including The Used, Andrew WK, Pennywise, Face To Face, Atmosphere, Simple Plan, Mest, Suicide Machines, and a whole lot more.
The film follows Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman as he tries to maintain the tour while keeping the evil record executive Belial (Played by Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman) at bay. Meanwhile, tour reporter Heather Vantress is trying to figure out who is behind the grizzly murders as the Warped Tour crew and bands (all played by themselves) are struggling to survive and stay on the road.
Punk Rock Holocaust features the highest on-screen body count in slasher film history with entire crowds being massacred in addition to the deaths of over 110 band members.
