I wonder if people would throw things at ME if I wore a GC tshirt. I think it might be likely.

Can i have your cds?

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

Believe me, I die a little everytime I go into one of these music threads where people pretty much like everything that is bad about music. Franz Ferdinand is alright, but they're nothing special. They've done nothing amazing to music. It just seems the same like every other band out there right now.

That's all I have to say.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

don't take this offensively alan .. but stay out of the these music threads if they bug you so much .. you and i have been on this board together long enough to realize our taste in music is VERY different .. now i've given about 4 bands you've mentioned a try and i at least respect people's difference's when it comes to music.

you should do the same because your comments about music can be pretty harsh somtimes.

i am curious about your thoughts on Coheed and Cambria though .. I know why most people don't like Good Charlotte, that's a given and I understand that completely but can you elaborate on your opinion for Coheed?

There's actually a couple of other bands I wouldn't mind hearing your opinion on, just out of curiosity but I don't want to get yelled at :(

Thank you Joey for completely throwing yourself into a discussion that didn't involve you, about a band that isn't even on the Warped Tour.

I was playing off the joke Megan said earlier in the thread, so why didn't you go off on her? Oh yeah, because you want to start a fight with me, that's why!

I said the Fiery Furnaces were better than Franz Ferdinand, a band who makes songs that sound exactly the same from the previous song on their album. And yet you bring it back to me not liking Good Charlotte, and you know why? Becuase you want to start a fight with me!

What I said was a joke, and this is the second time in this thread you've completely missed it and started bitching at someone. You're clearly dense. And obviously, when I said Franz Ferdinand is alright, I'm "pretty harsh" on my review of it.

Thanks Joey, you've probably got me banned by now.

i said i understood why people didn't like good charlotte, i didn't refer to you personally :wtf:

i give up .. i worded everything as carefully as i could to avoid you blowing up .. i expressed interest in hearing your opinions on a band ..

besides, you started mentioning bands that have nothing to do with warped tour way before i came along.

you win. :(

You were trying to start a fight. Look at the first line you said. I went into this thread, backing you up, and said that going to shows with older crowds is a good idea. Someone else said a band I liked was terrible, and I expressed why I felt she was wrong. Then I go along with a running joke in this thread (go ahead and look at the posts from Megan to me) and you have the audacity to say something snide to me for no reason. Nothing I said concerned you, beyond the idea of going to shows with older crowds, so don't respond. This had absolutely nothing to do with you.

That's it. That's all. I gave you a synopsis on the thread. Now go ahead and tell me you weren't trying to start something with me when this had nothing to do with you.

Saying this in the nicest way Alan, I think you jumped the gun on this one. Especially since everyone's been getting along really well for the past few months, I don't think Joey was trying to start a fight.

but ya anyways I guess this thread can go back to being about the warped tour. Hopefully...
