warped wasn't too bad for the screaming girls .. lots of younger kids i let cut in front of me but generally an older crowd .. i think i've seen them about 4-5 times now and their live shows are always great.

Go to 18+ shows. That is all I will go to nowadays.

Like, I skipped on seeing the Fiery Furnaces when they came to town a little while ago because I expected a younger crowd. Now they're coming back and it's a 19+ show, so I wil lbe there. And I will propose to the lead singer.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I havn't been to any concerts :( thats so sad.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

My friend and I really hated the Fiery Furnaces. And isn't the singer going out with the Franz Ferdinand guy? Though she may accept your proposal anyway, you never know! :)
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Yeah, you hated the Fiery Furnaces because you like stuff like Franz Ferdinand. Maybe you should train your ear to appreciate the melodies they weave into their lyrics. The things they do with the keyboard is amazing, but yeah. You wouldn't know.

They have the same sound that everyone trashes the Strokes for having. Except Franz Ferdinand has an accent. And worse songs.

In other words, Franz Ferdinand adds nothing new to a scene loaded with bands that sound exactly alike. Then a band like the Fiery Furnaces do something different, being a two-piece with a synth and an acoustic guitar and lots of tight-fitting noise in the song, and they're terrible.

Yeah. Let's just end this and agree that I'm right.

I've never even heard of 19+ shows around here. There probably are though, I've never been interested in anyone in the bars around here.

Joey wrote:then that's rather pathetic .. if you don't like a band that's fine .. there were at least 4 other stages with bands playing at the time .. go and watch one of them instead .. the assholes that stay there just to throw shit and give them the finger only make themselves look like idiots. the more shit that was thrown, the harder and louder they played .. you're the idiots that inspire them even more. i have no respect at all for people like you.

.. I'm joking. I did see good charlotte when I went to warped. I ignored them and went to another stage. Yeah i agree, people who throw things are super immature and idiots, i mean the band is only doing their job. Whether I like it or not doesnt warrant me throwing things at them. And you dont know what I happen to be like, so dont claim you have respect for me or not.

a laughing smiley can be interpreted many different ways ... for example: you laughing at yourself for making a 'gay charlotte' joke .. so i'm sorry if i misinterpreted your 'joke' ..

moving on ...
