Jack off Jill/Scarling.

Yeah. scarling. and Jack off Jill are 2 awesome bands. Both bands have the same singer, Jessicka. She started out with Jack off Jill. Her new band is scarling.!

Anyways, you all should check them out. I think the only difference with scarling. is that there's less screaming. *shrug* Clairoo likes them too.

Jack off Jill- clear hearts grey flowers, devil with the black dress on, strawberry gashes, everything's brown.

hehe. yay! well scarling. is definitely more grown up than Jack Off Jill...Jessicka has been known to express surprise that JOJ has a following. it tends to be rough and angsty, and the songs tend to be raw and simple, and many are similar as opposed to the maturity of scarling, where the melodies are more complicated, and the lyrics rise a notch in quality. but joj is definitely a band with gritty emotional appeal. :love:

I, for one, HATE Strawberry Gashes.

However, Star No Star, Fear of Dying, Rabbiteen, and When I Am Queen are all amazing.

Star No Star was my favorite JOJ song, but since then I've heard more, so now I'm undecided. Anyway, does Jessicka being in another band mean JOJ is no longer in existance, or is she in two bands? I love the music, but know near to nothing about the band.

Strawberry Gashes just annoys me. I just don't like it, and too many angsty goth girls use it as their own personal theme song because they cut or whatever. My friend LOVES this song, but she only likes JOJ because it's ANGRY and the lead singer is a girl. And she's a cutter. She can CONNECT.

JOJ is broken up.

Apparently all my friends knew that already, but they never mentioned it because they assumed since I'd heard some songs that I already knew. Anyway, I think I'll download some Scarling, see what they're like. My friend who's a huge fan of JOJ told me they're not that great, but then again he only heard one song.
