be back in i don't know

Post by Bandalero »

ok, i'm off to montana for a while, i don't know when i'll be back, so do me a favor and come by the house and:

feed the dogs, and give them plenty of water.
feed the cat, and give her lots of water
feed the monkey, and give it lots of water
and
pick up the mail.

ok, see ya'll laters.
Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.

Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load.
gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown

Could all of these problems be solved with one medium-sized bomb?

happy trails

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

YOU BASTARDS LEFT THE DAMN NEWSPAPERS OUT IN THE YARD!!! :cuss:

a few coments about this trip:

west Texas sucks, it's too new mexico-ish what with the sand and they nothingness and the ghost towns. oh yeah, and don't believe the caution signs with the deer on them, there's not a godamn thing alive out there. might as well sell it to new mexico.

Valentine Texas (west texas) is just fucking creepy, it's probably a ghost town. (drove by in the day) it's worth a visit if your in the area. catarino Texas, you've just been de-throwned as most likely to be a ghost town.

new mexico is kind of cool, if your into that kind of stuff. it's like sand in the south, and grass and jersey cows in the north.

Santa Fe over does the pueblo spanish type archeitech. (i'm not in the spelling mood) they got that church with the bad ass spiral stairway. that's primo. everything else, eh...

colorado is awsome, almost as cool as Texas, but not really. i'd say they are a distant second. and that's cause we have west texas to bring our stock down.

Interstate driving is bad ass.

truck stops can be cool

truck stops can suck ass

one thing is for sure, that godamn atlas that our insurance agent gave us sucks donkey nuts.

driving 4,000+ miles in a civic with 2 other people isn't nice, on the other hand, we made bad ass gas mileage.

don;t trust the gas gauge on said civic, with a full tank you can go 380 miles, (although i personally think you can make a full 400 if you go 65 the whole way) don't get brave after traveling 300 miles and your needle on the godamn gauge says you still got 1/2 a tank. that 85 octane fucks it up i'm almost positive of that.

at this point in the trip it's fucking cold. you lucky bastards, it's 100+ degrees in South Texas with the neat index throwing it up to the 110's and you bastards are chillin in the 60's. YOU SUCK!

from colorado up to the north, there's a shitload of roads that either go down steep hills, make ridiculous turns and twists and curves, or do both at the same time. for the love of god people straighten out your roads, i'm from the plains we don't need that kind of shit. add the wind and it makes for a tough drive.

wyomming. good lord there's alot of hicks there. it was a nightmare. instead of football stadiums in every town, i saw roping/rodeo places. :wtf:

pinedale or pineville or whatever that town is in wyomming, that's a nice little town. clean, purty, overall a good place to stay.

do not eat at the mexican restraunt there though, it's no where near authentic.

the drive from pinedale to yellowstone national park is nice, take pictures. tutons is a cool place too. bison....they're all over the damn place. oh and for the first time ever i had a jones soda in this area. Jones soda is not Reno Rican Approved.

yellowstone. my god, what can i say about this place. it's nice, it's clean, but for the love of god, quit hiding the moose(s?). that one grizzly i saw was tearing up a few trees, that was kind of scary. getting out of the car to take pictures of elk crossing the street is not scary. please people when you see a TexAn getting out of his car to get up close to nature, don't panic, were TexAns. this kind of behavior is natural.

do not for the love of all that is good inthis world take the north east exit out of that damn park at night. THAT scared the shit out of me. holy fucking hell.

I spent about 10 miles or so in montana, and it was out of said exit. i gotta tell you, montana (the 10 miles i saw anyhow) sucks!

wyomming, your alright, but for the love of god, y'all got too many hair pin turns on the way to Cody. that...sucked!

north dakoda, y'all alright. the motal 6 in Rapid City however.....SUCKS!!! because of you i missed the Gatti fight. i will never forgive you.

Mt. Rushmore - cool

there's a place called wall, and they have a drug store, there's alot of billboards telling you this.

nebraska - boring

kansas - boring, but better then nebraska. good place to spend the night though.

oklahoma - your pan handle is small. *giggles* *points and laughs*

Texas - sweet motherland!

one more thing you yankees need to know. i drove slow on this trip intentionally. because you bastards come to Texas with your big assed RV's and campers and shit like that and drive slow down here. so that's for you you lush asses!!!

G'night Monkey!

well, someone told my dad that yellowstone was in montana, but it's mostly in wyomming.

we saw some people, and they were dressed up and wearing suspenders. and the girls were wearing things on their heads.

who are those people, they're like amish but they all got out of a big assed chevy van. had a hard time staring.
