In elementary school people were mean to me. I was pretty dorky, and kind of stuck up, and I wore funny clothes and glasses for awhile, so I got made fun of.

In middle school, people TORTURED me. In 5th grade there were a couple of girls in my class that I ended up being really tight w/, but in 6th grade the three of us were seperated and I got put in a homeroom where everybody hated me. So every single day I would get RIPPED ON by these kids and I had NOBODY on my side who would stick up for me. Even the people who were nice to me sometimes wouldn't stand up for me.

Nobody really makes fun of me anymore, at least not to my face, so high school isn't so bad. What I can't stand is the perpetual gratuitous drama that everyone seems the THRIVE ON. None of it includes me, but it's my FRIENDS that are always involved in it so I always end up hearing about it, mediating it, etc. It's rediculous.

Oh Man, reading all your stories really makes me see how lucky I was. Then again I went to school in a different era. Mid 70'-Mid 80's. I had a discussions with one of my friends the other night about kids now adays being disrespectful, mean, etc. Her oldest is 16 1/2. She use to tell us the crap these kids did to the teachers and other kids. I am so glad I am not in school anymore.

I guess it was the era I went to school. We just missed the riots. I remember when I was in elementary school our next door neighbors would tell us of the riots that went on in middle school. . This was after the schools started to become intergrated. I think every generation has their grief in school. MY brothers and sister are way older then me. I remember when I was little hearing the stories they told of high school.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

No idea. I was friends with everyone for the first few years of school, then for no reason in 3rd grade, some girls formed a club, and the only rule was that you couldn't be my friend. :freak: Only one girl didn't join and hung out with me. *wonders what Jenny's up to these days*

k- who can honestly say kindergarten sucked? i still remember the astronaut bear i created.
1- awesome until i moved to canada from florida- canadians were weird at first. :freak: i was the only person in class who could print my name without screwing it up. schooling seemed much more advanced in the states, which it pretty much is.
2- awesome. i loved the theme days.
3- alright, but i remember reading way too much.
4-cool... i started to like this one girl who i pretty much still like (my prom date)
5- i was such a badass- always getting in trouble. i loved it.
6- grade 6 was so much fun- i hated my teacher tho. i think that was the year we had a strike in our schoolboard so we got a week or two off- i cannot remember for sure
7- too many science projects with our teacher- he was a science freak.
8- loved every second of it. i got voted nicest butt and nicest muscles on the last day.
9- about a month off for a strike=good times.
10- fucking amazing. girls, drugs, booze and friends all came together to end up in some crazy nights.
11- i hated school- i started slacking off
12- i grew up and left some of my immature friends behind... it was alright but i worked my ass off to get accepted at toronto.

School is what you make it. Looking back, I realize that nobody liked me cause a. I gave em reason not to and b. they could feel the nervousness coming off me.

K-2 I was the shiznit, people loved me back there, we moved around alot and I'd knock on people's doors and find friends. Nothing scared me, yo.

3-8 We moved here and I started to get self conscience bout making new friends and if people said anything snide I put them in their place real quick. Which pretty much meant I had absolutely no friends from that time on. I had a few girls I played with a little, but most of them drifted away.

9 high school started, I didn't make the cheer squad. I still had zero friends. But I played basketball and got to be known as the jock and had some people to hang with which boosted my self confidence so I made the cheer squad

10-11 cheered, tried desperately to make the cool cheerleaders like me, but I never fit in with them even though I could dance and all that shit just as well as them. Got sick of them and finally found some real friends. They are my friends now  Thank God for them.

12- danced on the drill team with my best friend and had fun, but ready to get out of there.

college=the suck  I feel like I'm in middle school again, I'd soooo go back to high school.

Hm..back to the topic of this thread, that little math equation got it right, 20.

K - 2: I barely remember. I was pretty floppy, had a few friends, a good time, I guess. Hey, I was 5-8 years old! Whaddya want?

3: Best time, because I only went to 1 month or 2 of it. (I'd moved to Argentina at the Canadian end of Gr.2, got into school halfway throught their Gr.2, once their Gr.2 was over, I came back to canada at the end of our Gr.3. Make sense? I didn't think so. :P )

4&5: Meh. I'd moved to a new city & new school, 'twas okay.

6: Met this girl who turned out to be a manipulative bitch, hate her, still do, yet I'm going to see Matt Good with her next month. *shrug* All in all, I hated Gr.6, and I've blocked most of it out of my mind.

7: Fun, fun, fun. I had this teacher who everybody said was mean and nasty and gives you homework that no one has ever done in one night, etc. I look back now, and she was actually cool.

8: First year of high school. Meh.

9: Fun, fun, fun again. I'd made friends, most teachers were cool to me, gone to a few concerts, a few parties, Like I said, it was pretty cool. Except for the gym. I hated my 2nd sem. teacher, and I busted my knee up pretty bad. Torn ACL.

10: Yech. Hated most of it. Boring, I actually failed my first class, and I hated it, hated it, hated it (the year, I mean). Yearly trip was total bullshit. :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

11 - 12: To be announced.

this is usually the time that the gong sounds and you and that little girl must fight to the death (or atleast till someone cried). the winner would be deemed cool as hell, the loser, would suck.

she must have thought you were the geekiest kid in class, the rule of elementary school, find the biggest loser and make fun of them then people will think you're cool. The rule of highschool find the biggest toughest kid and take them out, make sure everyone sees it go down then you get respect and popularity follows respect, and girls follow popularity, errr in your case boys i guess

But if you look at it, all the other girls knew you still. I think the general rule in elementary is once someone is labeled an outcast/loser/geek, that person usually accepts and it and sort of perpetuates the cycle. I was picked on in middle school and I was far from any sort of stereotype. I was smart, acne-less, tall, athletic, and skinny (hahahahah, how I wish for those days). I just let them think I was something else. Thus, perpetuating the evil cycle.

I've had the same friends since like grade 7 (ish, its arguable) and since then, I have had good times with them. I mean, when you have good friends, you are set. I remember in grade 4 I had 2 really good friends of mine. What ended up happening was they both failed grade 4 and I had to go to Jr. High with no close friends and that really sucked. But, whatever.
