The Moon & Anarctica is an amazing album. I can just sit there and space out to that fucker for hours. It's just that good. In fact, I'll go as far as saying it's the second best album that's been released this decade, behind Interpol's "Turn On The Bright Lights"

And now to tackle the issue brought up by the jackass.

It's called a video. Do you know what one of those are? See, in many of these so-called "videos" the band dressed up and even acts differently than how they really are. Just because the singer put a top hat and a fake mustache on doesn't make him a fat fuck of a French chef. It means he was doing what the fucking director told him to do.

Now to bring this into terms that the fucktard would know. Have you ever seen Century Hotel? Do you remember how Raine was in there playing a drugged out musician struggling to write a song? Yeah? You do, eh? So does that make Raine a drugged out hippie from the 60s, or an actor?

Yeah, now that you've been proven wrong, go burn in hell.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

whats modest mouse?

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

very not mainstream.... i've heard them called "college rock" in some magazine if that means anything.

To answer the poll i've liked them for a while but never got into them much until Good News.

rofl, fat french chef.

Yeah i have liked Modest Mouse since before good news. They are good. People on this board used to make fun of me for liking them. The new album is okay. i don't really care that they have gotten pretty popular lately. It's better to see a decent band getting recognition than a really stupid band. the end.
don't look now, just keep watching the TV hating what's too see waiting for someone to say something that's right.

I used to make fun of you for liking them, but that was mostly because I didn't like you that much.

You need to shut up you stupid little fuck. You must be really stupid if you think everything in a music video is what the band is, yes the lead singer is a fat french chef  you dumbass. Think before you type, and by the way you have to no right to tell people to get off this board you fucking noob.

I really like Float on, so I downloaded a few tracks off the album to see if I want to buy it, and I'm so confused. I think there were 5 songs - 2 of which I really liked, one was ok and 2 I didn't like.

So should I buy the album or not??
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
