Don't start a thread about an OLP biography if you're not sure of how to spell the word biography.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I know, but honestly, if you have doubts about how to spell it, just forget starting the thread.

I'd pick Duncan just because we don't know much about him so there's a lot to learn. Plus it seems he has had some interesting jobs and now has a family.

You know I made a joke with a friend in 1999. I said I should go on the road with OLP for a year and write a book about it, or document it. I was going to call it " A Year In The Life Of OLP On The Road-Through The Eyes of The Fans"

With all the shows, and intereactions I had with the band and fans over the years I almost could. I documented all my adventures in seeing the band. Funny thing is a DVD finally came out with interviews from fans. I love the interview part of the DVD cause it shows Hammerstein(NYC) and Raine balcony diving from Electric Factory in Philly.

I wouldn't write a book on any one member. I like the fact that the band members are all pretty private guys. Yeah when it comes to OLP they are open, but when it comes to their personal lives they are very private. I like that. Unforunately for Raine he married another Singer so they are in the press a bit more, but even then you don't see much.

Either Mike or Jeremy. Both just so that I could force them to sit there and play their instruments, claiming it to be research.
I just wanna get out,

What do you mean "work along side them"? They are musicians. Unless you are good with lugging heavy equipment around, they have no use for you.

that is sad and funny at the same time. Funny cause you wrote unless you are good at lugging heavy equipment. Sad cause you wrote they have no use for you.

WOW and all this time I thought for sure I was sending their kids to college with all the money I spent on them. :P

You are, Gail

I didn't mean that they would have no use for you whatsoever. I mean, they need fans. But actually working with them... you'd need to be into recording, stage stuff, or something like that.

yeah Little Rowan Maida and the Coutts girls should send me/us thank you note
my friend says that also with the person she follows. She said we put their kids through college. Hey I bet in some way we helped pay for Raine/Chantal's house.

I wouldn't want to work for the band. I love being a fan. I think working for them you be too busy to enjoy the shows(that is if you got to see the shows). I am happy being a FAN...

that reminds me of that cribs episode (can't remember what one) where the fans all made pieces of a quilt, put it together and sent it to the guy since he had a new baby. We should so something like that.

I've worked at shows at school here and it's really satisfying to see everything come together. I think that after one or two consecutive shows I'd get really sick of it though, unless I really liked the band and they were like OLP- with a good number of fans who follow them around. It'd be nice to see familiar faces :)
